Texas Longhorns = National Champs!!!!!

For the first time in my life, I was actually excited about a football game and had intentions of watching it from start to finish!

What a game! For the first time in my lifetime, the Texas Longhorns won the college championship!!!! Everyone is going crazy here in Austin! It's so exciting!

The funniest part was dh who was a nervous wreck. He was pacing, breathing heavily, continuously wiping the TV down with Windex, and screaming at the top of his lungs. This time I actually felt a little bit of what he claims to go through during these footbal games.

I can't wait for the celebration which will supposedly be in a couple of weeks! Oh well, I'll stop gushing now.....

way to go UT!! i am not really a fan of UT, but i am so sick of USC that i was really rooting for UT. though i am most excited about PSU winning on Tues night. i am glad college football is over now so that i can be more productive on saturdays

I did not watch the game, but the entire rest of my family did. They are all so psyched! My brother and his inlaws are huge fans. they made a pact that if Texas won, they would jump in the pool! and so they did!
