I was wondering if your taste changed at all when you got pregnant? For me it definitely did.....about a month into it.I could not stand the smell of coffee-i still dont drink it,or the smell of toast.Pizza -yum i could have eaten this everyday!I got into coke for awhile .Red meat and any kinds of potatoes tasted awesome. Now I am pretty much back to normal-although celery has been a good snack.:p It is so weird tho how pregnancy affects your taste like that.

Hi Smiley! Yes, my tastes did change. Especially 1st trimester w/the nausea and all. For the longest time I craved fish sandwiches & guacamole. Not necessarily together, but I did crave them a lot. Also, I could not drink any milk or have dairy products w/o having awful stomach pains. Just last week I began to drink milk again. I was really concerned about this, b/c I want my baby & I to get enough calcium. The bones become stronger and grow the most in 3rd trimester...so we should be okay now. :)
Now, my diet and cravings are pretty back to normal.

My taste changed drastically when I was pregnant. Also there were a lot of scents that I could no longer tolerate. I have always loved the smell of Jergen's hand lotion but when I became pregnant all of a sudden the scent made me sick as a dog! I couldn't stand the smell of any perfume either when I was pregnant and 7 years later I still can't tolerate any perfume and I still have a hard time with the scents in different lotions and creams. Oh well, just one of many of the strange things that happen to you when you become pregnant. Take care.
