T-Storms in Midwest.

I am just about to go to bed - then I looked at the radar and cannot believe what is coming across southern Wisconsin. I hope everyone is safe.

I am turning the laptop on upstairs before I go to bed and will be sleeping with one ear open.

We got slammed Thursday morning, but luckily my town just got some winds and 2 inches of rain in 30 minutes. Just a bit south was worse. I am so tired of these torrential downpours. They always say when we get them that they are unusual, but lately, they are more usual than unusual. Luckily all the work remodeling and grading the lawn worked. No water in the house!

Everything was okay here. There was a spectacular light show starting as I went to bed and it looks like it rained, but everything fine when I woke up.

I'm in MI too, and it's starting to look stormy. Hope it's nothing like the 11 inches of rain we got around this time last year!!!

Glad to hear it . . it looked nasty.

Okay well it must have been really bad just north of us Lots of flooding.
We would have been fine but our sump pump went out so our basement got wet. Guess I spoke to soon. It's a good thing I was working from home and took the afternoon off.

Just a note, when your sump pump stops working and you think the pump is bad turn it off when you remove it anyway. I was in a hurry when I went to replace it, so I lossened the hose clamps, removed the flex pipe and went to pull out the pump. Well it started working and of course since the pipe was no longer connected I took a nasty shower.

Those of you in it's path, I hope you aren't hit as hard as the area about 20 miles north of us were.
