STS vs. Gym Style

Hi there,

So, I'm going to be getting STS. How are the Gym Style workouts different from STS and are they worth buying in addition to STS?

Thanks!
Pam

I did GS for all of March, and loved it!!! It was a new to me workout. I'd compare it most to Meso 2, but it is different than STS. I really, really enjoyed GS, and it started out tough, tough, tough, but it must've worked, bc it got easier at the end. I did match Cathe on her weights, but it was a struggle at the begining to do so. I loved GS, and can't wait to do it again. I noticed some good arm def in GS.

If I were you, I'd go ahead and get it.

I might be out voted here but Gym Style is one of my all time favorites. I'm not a huge fan of the STS series, . . if I HAD to pick one I'd pick Gym Style. It also depends on which STS series you plan on buying. You have to find your 1 rep max.

Wanted to add, I thought parts of GS were harder than STS, especially the chest and tricep work. Cathe does all of a muscle group before she moves on to the next one, so by the time she moves on to the next group, the 1st one is FRIED!!!!!!!

IMHO, No home workout collection is complete without GS! I love to do a weekly rotation of 1 body part per day along with some cardio and stretching. Makes me feel fantastic!

ITA!!!!

This series works great with one full body lighter weight day too. Cathe posted a rotation for people who like to hit each body part twice a week. I love to add a Squeeze or Tonique style workout on at the end of the week with this series. It's great with boot camp too!
It's a must have in your fitness library!!!!

Wow!! Sounds like GS must be added to my collection alng with STS!! It's always fun to be able to mix it up!

Thanks!

Funny - I was just trying to decide if I wanted to do STS or GS-C&T tonight! Haven't done GS in a while. They are different, as stated above. Also, the muscle groupings are different. GS follows the more traditional push/pull method (so chest/triceps and then shoulders/back/biceps), where STS mixes those up. GS-C&T starts with a "warm-up" of 72 pushups in drop-set fashion! yowza!!
