The thread from the other day inspired me to buy a blender and make my own, I guess, smoothies. So far I tried two, one with spinach and one just with fruit.

I just put a banana, an apple, 1 cup of frozen strawberries and 2 kiwis in a blender (or omit the kiwis and add two handful of spinach) and liquify. I usually eat the same amount of fruit during the day, cut up on a plate. But in smoothie form the fruit keeps me satisfied a lot longer than as fruit pieces. Anyone else noticed that they stay satisfied longer with smoothies?
 
If you drink the smoothie all at once, than you are getting all those calories together and it would keep you satisfied a lot longer. Have you figured out how many calories that all adds up to?
 
The smoothies should be about 400 kcal, depending on the size of the fruit. Of course, if I substitute with spinach it's about 100 kcal less.
