I have a security ? for you. Were you allowed to take lipstick or chapstick/lip balm on board when you flew from London back to the US? Everything I've read says absolutely no cosmetics or toiletries at all in cabin baggage from the UK to US.
I'm flying to Seattle on Friday and 10 hours is a long time w/o lip balm! My lips get really dry and icky. Minor complaint, I know, but I'd like to know if I can bring anything like that on board.
