shedding wool sweater

anyone know how to stop a wool sweater from shedding???? I've already washed it and tumbled it dry on delicate in the dryer but it still sheds on EVERYTHING!

Is it brand new? It will take quite a few washes before the shedding is minimized but I don't believe it will ever stop. It is just the nature of the fiber. I have a wool rug that sheds like crazy but over the years it has gotten much better. Wool is great because it is durable, natural, and holds color beautifully but wool also sheds, is itchy as heck, and has to be washed very gingerly. You could take a lint brush to it to help. Hope this helps.
