Sept 15 Check in

Wow, am I the first today? Good morning!!

I think its because most of you guys are having a rest day. I actually really like to make Sunday a vigorous workout day to start the week off right (and I hate mondays!) :p

Yesterday, because of Ivy's comments I decided to do most of BM2. I did the step routine and then DH came into the room and asked if I wanted a break so he could do a GS workout. I was so happy that I let him. I then came back for the power circuits but man, I was tired by then. I barely could stand without shaking near the last blast. (I'm REALLY bad at plyo/air jacks.) And then I finished with a timesaver premix of GS Chest Back and Biceps or whatever order that's in.

Not sure whats on the plate today as I still have to figure out how I'm going to schedule the day. Something with a "max" in it for sure. But probably some attempt at an interval workout. I think for the work week though I'm going to stick to 4DS, especially on time crunched days.

Have a happy Sunday!

Hiya -
you both posted at the same time :p

Soooo here's what I posted: lol

G'Morning Chris, Hottie & All who Follow!

Well I'm feeling much, much better and I will resume my workouts on Monday as I still have that godawful headache that has been plaguing me since I've been sick.

My dd seems to have gotten over her cold too and I'm watching her very closely as she is asthmatic.

I feel this crud still in my head but when I woke up this morning my body aches are all but gone - Yippee!

So while I was sick I was thinking or playing with the idea of canceling my STS oreder as its just taking forever and I would like to try out some Kettlebells so I'm telling myself 'Should I or shouldn'tI?"

After this week my body feels so hurtful and I'm wondering if I even want to bother with it all now

Goodmorning Hottie, Vilma and all that follow.

This morning I went to see my friend sky dive and it was awesome, but it's something I wouldn't do. Today I'm going to try to do some Yoga. I'm thinking of doing Namaste Yoga; I really like that DVD.

Hottie: WTG on your workout with BM2! It's such a FUN workout and the music is just AWESOME! I really like that one a lot! I wonder if I have it on my top 5, if not, then I might have to change it and add it.

Vilma: I'm so glad to hear you are feeling much better, and that your daughter's cold is much better too! I hope your headache goes away soon!

I'll try to BB later. I'm going to rest a little since I've been cooking all morning and then later we will get the kiddo's in the pool. Then I might do Yoga afterwards. Have a nice day everyone!

Haven't read Chris' thread yet, but have to reply to Vilma about STS. I have been debating the whole thing for a few weeks now. Mostly because I realized that I really don't like a three day split so much and I can't imagine how I'll be able to do it for sooooooo long. On the other hand, it's paid for, I got it at a very good price, and I know I'll be going crazy reading about how much other people love it if I cancel. I have also toyed with the kettlebell craze, but for me it always comes back to looking so injury prone, so I don't think I'll go there. I think my compromise is going to be to keep my STS order, but if I'm not enjoying it, I will go to a different rotation for a while, and use STS in a way that makes me happy. Not sure if that helps at all.

I did my yoga this morning -- I slept in, which meant the kids were awake and playing all around me as I did yoga -- not exactly peaceful and relaxing, but I think it did my muscles and joints good. In fact, I think I could use another hour! That leg blast really has my butt in knots. :)

I ended up staying home with the kids yesterday -- they were having a blast with their legos and after reading the STS/gas price threads, it felt silly to drive an hour to go ride some rides. We had a great day -- it was beautiful here, so we spent a bunch of time outside, too. Unfortunately last night our favorite hen disappeared -- eaten by something, no doubt. That was a sad way to end the evening. On the plus side, we aren't attached to any of the chickens/roosters at this point, so when we lose them in the future, it won't be sad. Strange how this stuff works!!
