Sandal mania

My feet are hard to fit and cold weather shoes are hard for me to find. But when the summer shoes come out, it's much easier for me to find a good fit and I can't stop shopping! I want it all! T-straps, slip-ons, clogs, platform, strappy, wedges. Just give me the credit card and nobody gets hurt. Anyone else go shoe crazy when the weather warms up?

After a really good pedicure! :) I used to dance ballet back in the day so my feet are not the prettiest  I have this thing about looking at icky feet BUT I do love my sandals. They seem to go with almost everything, jeans, shorts, skirts, . .esp skirts. Nancy don't you dare enable me and tempt me with sandals that you've bought.

Summer shoes, winter shoes, its all good!!!!! Love some of the cute shoes I've seen this year for spring/summer. I'm on a credit card no buy though. If I can't pay with cash (debit) I can't buy it. *sigh* Otherwise, the UPS man would be delivering a new pair everyday. Hey, they have a Wine of the Month, Book of the month, Cheese of Month, - why not a Shoe of the Month club? Sign me up, baby!:p

However, my feet are not cute. I'm hard on them, working out, wandering around barefoot inside and out, running, and so on. The are often dry on the tops (knuckle) of my big toes, and the ends of my other toes. Not enough lotion, cream, or grease in the world. I paint them, which helps them look cuter, as long as you don't look too close. I don't have funky caveman gnarly feet, but they're not the cutest, either. But that's ok, I use them, and I enjoy it. Something is wrong with you, anyway, if you're sticking your nose in my toes

Nan you are sooo funny. My hubbie has caveman gnarly feet, . . he lived on Maui for 18 years surfed nearly everyday and was bare feet a lot, . . . his feet actually make my stomach churn. Trust me my feet are far from foot model ready. When you wear pointe shoes the callouses that form on your feet look like tiny little mountains. I use a swedish foot file in the shower every night and this super dupper foot cream at night and it actually helps.

Nancy, . . .I love comfy sandals. I like the kind I can walk on the beach for miles. I usually buy mine from Lands End, . but I know Born makes some really cute ones.

I really should live somewhere warm year round. I loathe closed toe shoes!! It's so much easier to find comfy sandals than it is closed toe shoes.

Nancy, I love all of the above, but I am eye balling those black Munro's. I have a closet full of shoes **sigh** I don't need anymore for goodness sake :p

Sorry to enable Catherine! I'm also planning to buy another pair of Munros that look cute and yet feel like walking on clouds. I cannot believe how comfy they are given the high heel:

I love shoes!

I buy Birkenstocks, I especially like the Birki's line. I just got the most comfy pair of white clogs. Its like walking on air and they are closed toed so I don't get too cold. The cool thing is I can get them re-soled and its like having a new pair of shoes every time!

I just got rid of several pairs of shoes that I don't wear anymore. I am feeling virtuous every time I look in my airy closet now:D

NANCY!!! I love, love, love, love those Dansko Adele's!!! Do they come in other colors? Ahhhh, . . .how could you!

Shoe crazy? OMG Nancy, whatever you do, DO NOT go to zappos.com and type in Born and Sofft in the brand name category and look at their offerings in sandals for this Summer and by all means NEVER go to shoes.com and type in NAYA in the brand category and look at their fabulous, wonderfully cushioned, strappy sandals for this summer because your feet with thank you, you'll look so cool and pretty in the city and your credit card will never stop ringing! Personally, I want the Naya Women's Atwood and Alamosa and the Born Sade, Bliss and Hydrangea in Rosa Couture and Raspberry, sigh. Anyone got $600 to give me?!?!?!?!?!

Check these out!

I heeded your warning and did not check out those shoes, Clare. But if I had taken just a peek, I would say that they were very pretty sandals but how do you wear a 3" heel? Do they feel more comfy than they look? So pretty!!

I am late to the sandal party! Wah! I have been out of town.

On my favorite sandals list are the Born Alcala and the Born Lusaka. Also, Pliner's Viana and Temira.

I won't embarrass myself and tell everyone how many of each style I have in different colors.

Hi JM! I love Pliner. I just looked at all the shoes you mentioned. I love that t-strap look, but my feet are so flat and my instep so non-existent, the T-strap would be floating out in space above my foot. Darn. Now you guys have me interested in Born.

I got my Zappo's package yesterday, and I LOVE those Dansko Sissy shoes! They were so comfy, I forgot to take them off and wore them around the house. They really do make your legs look like they go on forever. Off to check out Born...
