Runners - Question about painful stitches?

Any one experience a painful stitch just under the clavicle while running? It feels very similar to a side stitch,but it is above the breast, kind of right under the clavicle reaching toward the arm pit(on the right side so I don't think it has anything to do with my heart). I've recently started getting these when I exercise at night, doing extensive step or while running. I've never gotten them during my morning workouts. I've read about side stitches, but can't find anything on chest stitches. TIA

Thats a new one to me. I usually get my stitch because I'm too cold. I wonder if it is tension left over from your day at work. Have you tried increasing the amount of upper body stretching before you start your workout?

I use an elliptical. it's the only way I can run without being in agony.
