Good Morning everyone. I am asking for everyone that reads this to help out here until we have something for nutrition. I know there are a lot of us that want to eat clean and stay with it there are many that can't create (like myself) so those of you that are experienced could help out.
You do not need to sit all at one time to do this I would like to keep this a running thread.
Please post receipes here that are healthy, snacks, tips, tricks I think this will help a lot of us stay on track.
I will post my salsa I made and what I am using it in
Beth6395 Homemade Salsa
8-10 ripe roma tomatoes
1 large red onion
2 cloves garlic (diced)
1 handful chopped fresh parsley
juice of a lime (I use refrigerated lime juice)
1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
salt&pepper to taste
2 pinces each: Onion powder,garlic salt
1 pinch celery salt
1 pinch dry cilantro
3 drizzles olive oil
I throw the lid on and give it a good shake and put in refridgerator to settle together
Enjoy!
Quesidillas - 2 small whole-wheat tortillas, 3 oz chicken diced 1/4 cup salsa, 1/2 cupped grilled asparagus, 2 tbsp of low-fat sour cream and 1 1/2 oz low fat shredded cheese.
