Claudia and other new lurkers,
I too was corrected early on- in one of my first posts. Although there are guidelines for posting on Cathe's forum, not all of us know these from the start. (They are not prominently posted)
One of the guidelines is to treat each other respectfully, and even though K. is almost always "technically" correct, we need to learn from the Cathe and SNM if we are posting incorrectly or offensively.
By simply modifying some replies with a more understanding and forgiving approach, we then can respectfully welcome new forum members without alienating them from the outset.
I never let Kathryn know how her response to my post made feel, but instead learned to respect Kathryn's infinite wisdom and knowledge in the area of nutrition and vegetarian life.
