Question about ordering directly from Cathe

BAM

Cathlete
I've always ordered my Cathe dvd's through Collage but I'll have to order direct for the STS. I just want to make sure I have my options clear. I can either order online (which I don't like to do) or through the call center which is not dealing with Cathe directly, is this correct? Also, customer service is through email or the call center also? Thanks.

Cathe Customer Service

Bam:

The website is secure, so I encourage you to order online. I would NOT order through the call center. When I first started doing Cathe’s workouts, I did not even own a DVD player and was definitely behind the times. I had never ordered anything online, so I understand how you feel. I used the 800 number for my first few VHS orders. The call center is located in another area. The people who work there do not know anything about Cathe’s workouts. I asked one of them how to pronounce her last name, and I was told that they have no clue! My credit card was overcharged for an order. Nancy (who works for Cathe in customer service) sent me a sweet message to let me know that she had taken care of it for me and credited my account. Nancy is a doll! I have trusted her from that very first communication and felt safe ordering online after that because she had already demonstrated that she would take care of me. I have placed countless orders through Cathe’s website since that day without any issues. It is fast and secure, and you receive an e-mail confirmation immediately (which is not the case when you order through the call center). I am not even sure if the preorder is available through the call center.

You also have the option of printing the order form and mailing a check or money order. Send an e-mail to customer service or post a question in the STS forum before you do this because I am not sure if your check has to be received or simply postmarked by tomorrow to qualify for the presale price. Online is the fastest and most secure way to go in my opinion. I am much more comfortable dealing with Cathe’s staff directly.

The call center does nothing but take orders and forward them to Cathe. If you want to contact Nancy (who is Cathe’s assistant) or someone else in customer service, send an e-mail to:

[email protected]

I personally would not waste my time calling the 800 number.

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: Cathe Customer Service

Heather, thank you so much for very thorough thoughts and thanks for understanding how I feel about ordering online. Gee, I hope by now they know how to pronounce Cathe's name. :7 Can you just clarify something for me? Is email the only way to have contact with customer service? Thanks again.

RE: Cathe Customer Service

I just became a "big" girl (thanks Heather ;-) ) and ordered online. It's waaaaay too easy to do. I can see how people can get in credit card debt. Thank goodness I only use my credit card when I know I can pay it off the next month. I decided I'm going to use my Christmas money to pay this off. I think I'm done buying exercise dvd's for awhile. Hopefully Cathy will go on a looooooooong vacation after this! :+
