Question about GS Legs

Hi Ladies,
I'm in need of another lower body workout, and GS Legs seems like a good choice. However it looks like they use an exercise band, which is one piece of fitness equipment that I've never quite been comfortable using. How much of the workout uses the dreadful rubber band, and what do you think I could substitute to get a similar effect? Thanks for your help!

Hi Amy! Cathe uses the band for leg presses...you could sub dumbbells or even a barbell. She also uses the band for lying inner & outer thigh work. Ankle weights would work just fine. I think you will get a great workout with these substitutions. It's a GREAT workout...I did it a few days ago and was sore for 3 days! (A GOOD sore!)

Hey Amy,
I don't have a medium tension band like Cathe has, I only have the hard one. My Mom and I are lookin to find it usisng some of the websites ppl offered in the DVD quesiton forum. Anyway I use 4-5 pound ankle weights for the exercise Cathe uses the band for. It works.
