Push Pull workout??

I really don't understand why do we care wether it's push or pull. Why does Muscle Max have a Push/Pull Premix. Is there a sequence that will make a difference. I don't understand the advantage of that or even what is a push/pull workout. I understand that different exercises are classified under one of these 2, but why do we care?
 
Venturing a guess here . . . push/pull works oppsing muscle groups, so you are resting one while you are working another. It doesn't require as much of a rest between sets.

This makes for a time-efficient, but effective, workout.
