Pure Barre

short answer.....

BURN! PAIN! FIRE!!!!!!!

Love it! The first time I did it I had DOMS for a solid week! :D:D:D:D
I have Pershing Square 1 & 2. They don't hit the UB well but they are hands-down the best LB workouts out there!
 
Do they have a cardio element, or are they just strength-based? What kind of equipment/space do you need? What kind of exercises are they?
 
no real cardio but that is not to say i didn't burn a sweat with it. there are weight used in the beginner for the arms(which is actually more of a warm up) but this is more lower body and abs focused stuff. if you have done any barre workout before i didn't find it the original a far stray from them(ie bar method or lotte berk) but she does rep it to death and all angles so that makes it a really killer! i gave up my copy to somebody who lost theirs in a tragic event but i can't say with all the other barre workouts i have that i miss it terribly but if don't have many barre workouts i find this is more affordable option then bar method. the set in the first one is a dark though so its hard to see the leg positions. in her newer ones the set is bright and she uses a little play ground ball.
