Hi,
where are all you other mommies? I posted last weeks workout already on another post so I'll post this week's workout here. This week:
Today-Thurs-Gay Gasper's greatest step
Wed-Cardiocut fx-Philip gray+ firm-bodysculpt blaster
Tues-Rythmic step-low impact
Monday-Firm-maxcardio(skipped ab section)+bodysculpt blaster
bodysculpt blaster was done in shifts after Alexis woke up and needed to be nursed, and continued to cry.
Sunday-walk to the park

I went to the OB today, weight is down 20 pounds from delivery date, and I got the ok to resume intense workouts, Cathe here I come.
Alexis is going to be a pumpkin tommorrow. How is everone else doing? maggie? emy? Other moms?

Hey shopaholic, it sounds like you are doing great. I too am down 20 lbs from delivery but I've been there for awhile (since week 2) and have not budged since. I decided to start the Firm workouts since I don't feel up to Cathe yet. I have done 3 days of the Firm 2 then one off then 3 days again. I feel better and I hope my rear end area is slimming down but no movement on the scale yet. I still have 24 lbs to go! I really wanted to be down another 10 by Thanksgiving because we are going to see my husband's family and I don't want to be so huge. Plus, I don't want to buy new clothes but its either that or show up in maturnity wear or sweats! I still have a couple of weeks so I have not given up hope yet.

Oh, I have a question for you post-partum moms, how long did you bleed after the baby was born? I am 5 weeks and a couple of days and I'm still bleeding and some days are quite heavy. I'm getting really tired of wearing pads all of the time. Is it common to bleed that long? My Dr. says to only way to get it to stop is to have a D&C I don't know much about D&Cs but I don't want one unless its absolutely necessary.

I cannot be for sure (it's been almost 10 years) but I am almost positive I bleed for 6 full weeks. A friend of mine thinks it's related to the activity level you're at postpartum. For example, I was running around doing chores & very active...so that's why I bleed so long. She, on the other hand, took it very easy & rested, took lots of naps... and she bleed for only a few weeks. It's HER theory. I just thought I bleed for an awful long time.

Hi everyone!

Life is busy, busy, busy!I don't have time to check in very often. Usually when I am on the forum, I am nursing and I hate typing with one hand. Baby is asleep in the swing ( just got done working out), so I have two hands for a change.

I cannot remember what week I posted last. So I will do my last week.

Oct. 22: Rest
Oct. 23: Muscle Endurance
Oct. 24: Power Max
Oct. 25: Muscle Endurance
Oct. 26: Step Fit
Oct. 27: Muscle Endurance
Oct. 28: PSLA floor work and abs (groan...), 30 min stationary bike
Oct. 29: Rest
Oct. 30: PUB (1st time and I am sooo sore, but in a good way)
today----IMAX I, modified--my knee feels a little sore

I am not sure what my highest weight was while I was pregnant, but I have lost 5 lbs since I weighed myself 2 weeks post partum. So a whopping 45 lbs to go. I lost 4.5 inches also. I am actually only 15 lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight, but I started out 30 lbs heavy. Anyway, the holidays are upon us and I must really start watching what I eat, because I love to eat and bake.

About bleeding, I remember bleeding the most after my first child. I definitely bled for a good 6 weeks. I did not do that this time. My blood was brownish and scant around 4-5 weeks and now at 7 it is non existant.

Bardric weighs around 14 lbs. He has an appointment November 10, so I will find out for sure. I have never had a child this size at this age. But he is generally a content and happy baby and smiles at us alot.

Well, take care everyone!
Maggie:)

Debbie, I bled for about 5 full weeks, and had brownish drizzle for another week or 2 after that. You are probably still in the normal range. I definitely bled heavier during those first 4-5 weeks on days when I left the house and did a lot of walking.

Maggie, My Maxwell was weighed in two days ago (at 2 months of age) at 13 pounds. He is almost double his birth weight of 6 pounds 13 ounces! He is so heavy to carry around now, sometimes I feel like he is my upper body strength training for the day. Sounds like both of our babies are good eaters! He is also making so many cute sounds now.

I haven't been so good with the exercising these last 2 weeks. My goal has been 3 days per week. For each week I did 2 workouts.

The week before this is I did IMax2 and the Viper.

This week I did Energy Sprint cardio only and Muscle Endurance (I am so sore!)

Don't know what weight I am at, but I just tried on my 2 favorite pairs of pre-pregnancy jeans - and Hallelujah I can zip them up! They are butt tight, however, but still I feel so accomplished!

The only negative is that I am experiencing incontinence. I can't hold my pees or bowels movements. My midwife said to kegel like crazy and come back in next month if that hasn't helped. Anyone else have this problem. Is it possible nerve damage?

Wow Emy your baby has grown. alexis is now up to 8 or 9lbs depending on where she is weighed. She has definely filled out that. I did cardio =weights today(Sat). It was so nice resuming my high impact workouts. yesterday was a walk to the park since it was so nice. My preprego jeans do fit and actually look pretty good, they just don't have that same comfy feeling. Alexis is beginning to sleep more, she slept from 10-2 last night then 3-6 so I am doing better. thankyou everyone for your support, maggie you didn't sound preachhy at all.
