Postpartum check in Week of June 6th

Pretty good week here. Summer has shown it's face again (although it was only 60 degrees on Wed). DH & I had an awful fight on Wednesday & things are slowly getting back to order. Why does marriage have to be so challenging?!?
Here's my week. No Cathe, I got a 12volume Tae Bo Series I've been doing. It's Tae Bo Advanced Live (TBAL). It's a nice change of pace from Cathe. I'll appreciate her more after the break (always do). :eek:)

Sun: TBAL 12
Mon: off
Tue: TBAL 11
Wed: 40-min run
Thurs: off
Fri: TBAL 10
Sat: TBAL 9

That's it on this end. Hope all your baby's are healing up nicely from their colds and other ailments. :eek:)

Hi Melanie, Justin and(Jory too) and all you other moms and babies. Ms. Alexis is back to her self although still eating a little less. I bought her some great toys this morning at a yard sale including as little pink motorcycle which is just her size which she loved. She is dying to crawl and rolls her way around yet still no crawling. Still no teeth either.
Why is marriage so challenging? My women answer is because men are stupid, my therapist answer is because we always snap at the people we love and we take each other for granted in marriage. Anyway here is my workout week:

Sunday-off-traveled back from new york
Monday-Fitprime-strong bear +upper body premix from high step adv.
Tues-Imax2-blast mania+bootcamp cardio high step cardio premix
(Intense but shorter than it looks)
Wed-firm-total body shaping mix
Thurs- Kick,punch and crunch
Friday-Fitprime-from the ground up +_firm tt2 (minus last segment)
Sat-Stepblast +abs from spj( I lucked out returned from yard saling at 11:00 not sure how the princess would be but she took almost a 2 hour nap, shopping is very tiring.)
 
Hi everyone!

I won't post my week yet, because I won't finish until Monday, but I have started a slow and heavy rotation and I am loooving it. I am having some pleasant DOMS, but nothing too excruciating.

Shopaholic--I like the look of your "blast" day. I love my new dvds, but I don't have IMAX or BC yet (on DVD, that is). I am not even wanting to use my videos now, just the DVD's I bought, the quality and ease and premixes are just so much fun.

Melanie--hope things are going well with your husband. One thing my husband and I have always tried to do in our marraige is to "never let the sun go down on our anger". In other words, to not let things simmer and go unresolved and turn into bitterness. I hate it when we fight, because I have such a temper and say the most awful things and once something is said it can't be unsaid (even though I do apologize)...and another thing, at least the kids see us working out issues in a marraige relationship and not giving up--see apologies and mutual sacrifice and stuff like that--I'm rambling...
But anyway, it sounds like the two of you are coming together again and that is a very good thing. (((hugs)))

I don't have my workouts in front of me, but I had just had to say that I'm LOL at shopaholics response to why we fight.:7 :7 :7 So therapists are human :) :) :) .

Okay--here are my workouts for the week

Wed--S&H chest and back
Thurs--S&H legs, 1/2 step fit, HSAT cardio only premix
Fri--S&H bi& tri(skipped abs), Body fusion cardio only
Sat--IMAX Xtreme (skipped "buttercup" due to time constraints)
Sun--S&H shoulders, step&intervals, cardio only
Mon--KPC+L&G premix (the 1 hr circuit--skipped abs)
Tomorrow--REST

I always seem to have an excuse for skipping the ab work, because, like floor leg work, I hate itx(, but I suppose I'd better shape up and make myself do it.
