Please help with CCPP

Winter

Cathlete
Hi,

I purchased cardio coach press play and have tried part of it. I am not sure if my itunes copied the tracks in the right order and I don't know what levels they are talking about so my questions are:

1. Is this the correct order of tracks omitting warm up, cool down and stretch?

Steady state 1
challenge 1
steady 2
challenge 2
steady 2
challenge 3
steady 3
challenge 4
steady 4

2. Is there anything written about what is contained in each segment.

3. What levels are they talking about. My treadmill doesn't have levels. It has 3 categories fat burn, aerobic, performance.

4. Do I need a heart rate monitor for CC workouts. It seems so far I could get addicted.

Thanks in advance for you help!!

1. Well, it would seem that since they're in numerical order, those are in the right order, but you seem to be missing the optional Challenge 5

2. I'm not sure if what is in each segment is written anywhere.

3. The levels aren't levels on your treadmill, they're levels of exertion. For instance, Level 2 would be steady state, Level 3 is pushing yourself to between 75% and 85% of your max heart rate and level 4 is "OMG I think I'm going to expire or fly off the back of the treadmill" :p There is a section included in the workout called Coach's Notes and if you listen to that part, I think he explains the levels.

4. No, you don't need a heart rate monitor. I don't use one and I know there are lots of others who don't. You can pretty much tell where you are by how hard you're working.

And yes, they ARE addictive, so be warned ;)

I checked in my iTunes to see how the tracks were organized and mine look like this:

Cardio Coach Press Play - 1
Cardio Coach Press Play - 2
Cardio Coach Press Play - 3
Cardio Coach Press Play - 4
Cardio Coach Press Play - coaches notes
Cardio Coach Press Play - interview

If you're having a problem just send him an email. He's really great about answering questions.

Here's a description of the levels:

I use a HRM because it came with my elliptical but it's not necessary.

This is my favorite CC workout. I hope you enjoy it:)
