Please help me do Lunges

Hey. I aws doing pyramid lower body and for some reason, my left thigh hates lunges. When I step out with my right foot, so that my left quad is bent behind, it hurts like there is no tomorrow. It is a VERY sharp pain, almost like I am pulling my mucle too much. It only affects my left thigh.

Hey Deb. It is a sharp pain more in the upper quad area. Almost to the top of my thigh. I did the full warm-up, but I am wondering if it just wasn't enough to warm my mucles?
 
That's what I was thinking ... it sounds like a sharp pull ... you might want to try warming up a little longer, and giving that hip flexor area a good stretch (easy does it!) before and after. Good luck! Deb
 
Thank you. It feels better, but both legs were hurting...and not just DOMS. I am going to lay off lower body for a week or so. I couldn't even squat down to pee because it hurt so bad. I can walk, just not very well upstairs. I guess walking and going upstairs mess with different muscles. Apparently I need a longer workout than what Cathe does in PLB.
