I tried a forum search to see if anyone has asked this before, but didn't come up with much that was useful. I've been interested in trying some pilates workouts, but I'm not sure where to start. I haven't done much pilates before, except for some moves that other instructors may have used in core workouts, etc. But I'm not a beginning exerciser.
Today I tried "Pick Your Level: Weight Loss Pilates" by Ellen Barrett on Netflix (Did you know that you can watch certain DVDs instantly on your computer at Netflix? It was kinda neat to try it out right away on my laptop!) I liked it okay. I was able to follow along with the more advanced moves on most things, but it was kind of short at only 35 minutes, and I wish it had more upper body work.
Anyone have any good recommendations for pilates workouts? Looking for something about an hour long, to work the whole body, at a pretty advanced level, but that wouldn't be too hard to figure out for someone who hasn't done much pilates before. I don't mind having to modify or work up to some more difficult moves if necessary. I just don't want to buy something too easy that I will get bored with in 2 weeks.
Thanks!
