Good morning!

Well the "vixen" slept from 9:15 until 4:15, and probably could have gone longer if Keegan wasn't awake and scratching, thumping around making a racket. Happy days!! Maybe this is going to continue and I can get back on my regular workout schedule etc.

Garance, It's "fall-like" here too, our heat actually went on last night. Brrrr...Here is a link to an update on the new KCM workouts: http://www.coffeyfit.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1106

Lots of HouseMax to do around here, maybe take the dogs to the park if John feels up to it. I love walking in the park when it's cool like this.

Hi to Joan, Josie, the vacationing Valerie, and Cathy.

Edited to add: I did the upper body split pre-mix from STS Total Body, it felt good to be doing something again..

Take care,

Hi Deb and any later posters--

This morning I did STS disk 25 for ch and back (68 min.). I figured that I wouldn't do meso 3 if I waited until after I return from California, so I decided to grit my teeth and do meso 3--the upper body disks. I should be able to do the second week's disks when I return. These are, well, boring--I had forgotten how repetitious they are. I am pushing the weight, though.

Deb, thanks for the link, but I'm not buying anything more this year. Just waiting for my Cathe low impact disks, which should keep me plenty busy. Sounds like the vixen is beginning to settle down. Fall is definitely here. We had the heat on yesterday. Today is just crisp--jacket weather.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Good morning,

I got up at 2:15 with Kylee, then she woke up again at 4:30 ( great timing kiddo!), so I let her out, then put her in the downstairs crate and did a 30 minute Cardio Coach treadmill workout. Whew, I can tell I have taken a long break.

Garance, I am kind of on the fence about the KCM's too, just like to see the progress and what everyone is saying. I still like the fact that hers are 30 minutes, a great thing when there is dread factor about working out. I am almost dreading getting the new series, whether I will want to do them or not. Maybe things will have calmed down around here. John had a mini episode yesterday, it put him down for the whole day though, once he takes the meds, he sleeps for hours, then is groggy most of the day. He and I can't wait for the surgery, and hope it does something. Oh, and on Meso 3, I FF through the long rest periods, or I would have gone crazy.

Well off to get ready for work,

Hi to Joan, Josie, Cathy and the vacationing Valerie,

Take care,

Hi Deb and any later posters--

This morning I did Sweat Express II (58 min.).

Deb, it looks like there are a lot of shorter premixes on Cathe's new series, so maybe there will be little or no dread for you. I'm taking Cathe at her word on meso 3 that the long rest periods are important for strength gains, and I really have pushed the weights up, so I am happy for a longer rest between sets. I just get bored with doing the same set of exercises 4 times. What kind of medication is John taking that makes him so sleepy? Are you going to watch DWTS tonight--or record it for later viewing?

Beautiful fall day here--high 60s and sunny. I bet Joan would love this weather. I think she has said several times that she feels so much better in the fall.

Good morning,

I got up at 4:30, but did not feel like doing any workout. At least Kylee slept until 4:00, got up to go out, and I tried to get her to sleep until at least 5 but that wasn't going to happen, once she was out, she was awake for good. It's raining like crazy here. It can stop any time now.

Garance, yes, I will probably do more pre-mixes than anything on the new workouts. There are ones I am looking forward to, mostly the weight ones, of course;). 11 workouts is pretty over whelming. We will be doing these all winter, I hope! I taped DWTS since we had puppy class last night and by the time we got home it had already started. Is tonight a one hour, or 2 hour show? time? I guess I can check ABC.com to see. They used to have that 8-9 recap, which was basically the Monday show down to 1 hour, then the results from 9-10. John takes Meclazine (sp?), which is basically Dramamine when he starts getting dizzy. It helps a lot, but puts him to sleep. I used to take Dramamine when I flew across country, and remember how I felt drugged, and very sleepy.

Hi to any later posters,

Take care

Hi Ladies,

I did all my workouts over the weekend and went spinning last night. I will be taking the day off today, but plan on going to the bar class tomorrow. My DH and I will be going to state line this coming Friday to see Smokey Robinson and will not have a chance to workout on Saturday and Sunday. State line is about 35 minutes before you get to Las Vegas.

Garance, I bought a few dresses and a couple of skirts for fall. The weather here has been in the 70's and it has been a bit cool at night, but not cold enough for fall clothes yet. I can't wait to wear my new stuff. I love propertyroom.com; I bought a watch and some silver earnings.

Deb, I hope that you can get back on track soon. Just go out and get yourself something nice to wear for New Year's as your goal.

Hi to Cathy, Joan and the vacationing Valerie.

Hi Deb and Josie--

This morning I did disk 27 for bis, tris, and sh (67 min.).

Deb, I taped DWTS and then watched the first hour. David Arquette looks really good. The judges are starting out with really low scores--probably because it gives them room to improve. Raining here too.

Josie, I love propertyroom.com too. I must keep away from their jewelry, though, because I am always tempted. I love my erte initials, and the price was right. I saw them in NYC years ago selling for three hundred dollars apiece, and managed to buy them at pr for a song (30-40 dollars apiece). I try to go look only once or twice a month. Smokey Robinson must be almost 80. I still love some of his songs for dancing.

Getting my annual eye exam this afternoon. I'm glad it's cloudy out when I leave after they dilate my pupils. The sun is a real killer.

Hi Garance,

Smokey looks terrible, but his voice has not changed. I saw him last year at one of my DH's work events and he sounded great.

Josie

Good morning,

Tired, tired and more tired. I leave today for DC, back late Friday ugh. Any messages you want me to take to the idiots running the country? LOL

John had another episode last night. That is quick, since the last one was on Sunday. I am very worried about leaving him alone. He says he will be ok. This surgery cannot come quick enough.

Josie, good for you for sticking to the workouts, you are probably going to love the new Cathe barre one. Did you say you could make your bike into a spinning bike? So you can use it for the new spinning workout too?

Garance, I keep forgetting about that property room site. I should check that out again. Is it just jewellry that you buy from there? I hope to watch some of DWTS before I leave for the airport today, otherwise it will have to wait until I get home.

Off for more coffee, and forgot to print my boarding pass...

Hi to Joan, Cathy, Vacay Valerie!

Hi Deb and Josie--

This morning I did Just Dance (50 min.).

Deb, I'm off to California tomorrow, so won't be checking in for awhile. I stick to the jewelry at propertyroom.com, but I have looked at some of their other categories. Some good deals at times on tech stuff. I don't know what you should tell the idiots in Washington, because they don't listen anyway. I would be worried, too, if those attacks are coming faster. The unpredictability is what would bother me.

Bye for now!

Back from DC. John did ok, we had to have Keegan in the vet overnight, he was not doing well. John had him in to the vet in the morning, they gave him some stronger anti-biotics, He was in pain, trembling, would not eat anything, even chicken etc. When he would not take the meds, could not keep them down, the vet said to bring him back and they wanted to have him overnight, I dropped him off on my way to the airport, and they said they would call to give me an update. Of course they called my cell when I was in the air, left a message to call them. Sure, when I land, they are closed. It didn't help me sleep, in a hotel, worrying about him, and John etc. He is better, John picked him up Thursday afternoon. Apparently the infection he had prior and after the surgery was not responding to the meds. He is much better now.

We are going to see 42nd Streed tonight,

I hope someone stops by to check in!!

Take care,
