Good morning!

No workout for me again:(..I am still in the slump and don;t know how to get out of it... oh well, we will see...I will not be around this weekend much. I am Chief Steward at our club's Obedience trial Sat and Sun. That is the person that gets all the workers and assigns their jobs etc. I have had a few people call and tell me they can;t do the job they volunteered for...so now I am scrambling to find replacements...

Carol:
You are doing so well with your workouts! Where do you walk at work? Do you do it on lunc hour?

Garance:
I hear you on the weather...it's hot and humid here today and it is supposed to be muggy ..does great things for the hair...frizz city! Your class must be very popular with the studends! Do you still like the Lauren KB workout? Are you able to do all the things with the 15# DB? I was contemplating getting a 10# ( I wish they had a 12), so I could do all of the excercises completely, but it means more money and I just don;t want to do it.

Lala: if you are reading our thread, let us know how you are doing? did you get back to weight work yet?

Linny:
How are you? do you get the tests next week?

Have a great day ladies!

Good morning!

Deb, I walk around the outside of the building. It's 3/4 of a mile each lap. A lot of people walk here - inside and out. We have maps on our Intranet site, showing routes and their respective miles. I'm not going for miles though, only time, so I simply walk at a brisk pace. I'm getting faster though (yesterday I walked three laps in only 35 minutes), so I may have to start taking my cell with me to keep track of the time. :p

This morning was Slow & Heavy/Triceps & Biceps. I will also be walking 15 minutes at work today, and that will give me 100 minutes of cardio this week, just like last week.

My workouts this week so far:

Monday - Slow & Heavy/Legs & Shoulders
Tuesday - Carol's Circuit; ab work; Leslie walking DVD for 20 minutes
Wednesday - Slow & Heavy/Chest & Back; walked 25 minutes at work
Thursday - Iron Core Way Volume 2, 1/3 of circuit; walked 40 minutes at work
Friday - Slow & Heavy/Triceps & Biceps; walk 15 minutes at work
Saturday - Carol's Circuit; ab work

Total workout time will be 360 minutes for the week. My goal is 6 hours a week, so I did it!! Two weeks in a row!!
:D:D

HHH

Hi Deb, Carol, and any later posters--

This morning I did CW, which is about 60 min. I think.

Boy am I glad I now have an air-conditioned office! It's really humid here and predicted to go up to 90 degrees. I do have a class in an un-airconditioned bldg. this afternoon, but it's the first day, so I don't expect to be in there for long.

Sorry you cannot find the energy and enthusiasm for working out, Deb. I think it's the STS anticipation--BRING IT ON, FOR CRIPES' SAKE! Lauren is okay. I can do all of the exercises with my 15 pound kettlebell. My problem is the squat thrusts. I think I must look like a crippled frog doing them. Just too hard on my knees. I'm with you on more purchases at this point, and I like to get my DVD purchases down to one dollar per workout before I set them aside, so I'm going to continue to do Lauren for quite awhile.

Good for you Carol on the workout plan! I just do 6 workouts per week, from 45 min. to 70 min., but I've never really planned on a certain amount of time. I have always heard you should do at least 30 min. of vigorous exercise per day 3-4 times a week, so I think I am a saint for doing more (yeah, right!).

Have a great weekend, and don't work too hard, Deb!
