Patricia Moreno's new dvd

Ladies:

Here is my report on Patricia Moreno's new DVD and a little bit about her new fitness business.

1) I ordered the DVD and got notice the next day that it had shipped. It arrived in a matter of a day or two. Excellent customer service! Amazing.
2) The packaging is lovely. The cover is really nice and professional looking and there is a cool insert inside with the IntenSati message and purpose. It also was very well packed.
3) Now for the workout: Hmm. Hmm. Patricia is such a beautiful woman. She is thinner on her upper body but a little thick below still. It starts out with a very new-age/yoga type warm up with Patricia stating affirmations about intentions to make all of your desires come true. She gets the crew (and the viewers, but not me) to repeat after her. I thought it was over-the-top and slightly ludicrous. Then she moves on to upper body. This was not tough at all and involved lots of sort of progressively louder affirmations... No weights. Not much to it. Disappointed. But the legs were very interesting - I liked it! I imagine that it's sort of like power yoga, although I've never done that. They weren't difficult, though, so it really isn't much of a workout. It has TONS and TONS of potential, though. I can see where she could go with the workout, based on the leg section. And the affirmations, while hokey to a non-new-ager like me, do get you thinking in a particular direction.
4) She offers life coaching (and weight coaching, but I don't need that). I spoke to the chief life coach, Meredith, who lives in the Bahamas. (What am I doing wrong since I live in humid South Texas...?) Anyway, the cost for the coaching, which is over the phone, is $200 - $250 per hour. They suggest several times a week for a month or two as a starter. She said up front that it was expensive...

So, if anyone is interested in checking out the workout without buying it, I really would be happy to lend/send it to you by mail. I'd love to hear others' feedback. She was TOUGH with Illaria, so I really do think she has it in her to design an extraordinary workout. But you need to see it and do it to see what I'm talking about.

Charlotte:

thanks for the review. It's kind of you to offer loan of the workout. I think that as far as spiritual uplift is concerned, yoga might be a better way for me and it certainly has thousands of years of weight behind it. Like you, I'd feel totally hokey chanting affirmations to myself in my living room. I refer to think them quietly to myself!

Thanks anyway,

Clare
