Overwhelmed and Confused

I have several questions, so hopefully this will make sense. I'm in rambling mode!

I just ordered more of Cathe for Christmas. The only ones I don't have now are Circuit Max/Cardio Kicks, The Classics, and High Step Circuit. Are any of these three must haves?

It seems as if the more DVD's I get, the more overwhelmed and confused I become as to what to do. How do most of you decide what to do? Do you mainly follow rotations? Cathe's or your own? I'm excited about the new workouts coming, but haven't made it through all the new ones I received in Sept. for my birthday! I attempted a rotation when I received that new batch, but felt like I wanted to do all the new ones before I used the ones I already had. I've also complexed this even more by ordering P90X.

I know that my fitness goals should drive what rotation or workouts I do. At this point in my life, I'm having some serious issues with motivation, confidence, and order (my house is destroyed due to remodeling and we're getting ready to put it on the market). My goal is to build some muscle and lean out my lower body a bit. Don't want to really lose weight. I'm probably underweight as it is.

So, should I build a rotation using all my new workouts? Or just decide which of Cathe's rotations to follow and just stick with that?

Any direction or tips would really be appreciated. I feel very lost.

Thanks.

Hi,

P90X is great for building muscle mass and leaning out the lower half. It also is a complete and well-thought out rotation. I would just do the 90 days of this series, so you don't have to plan your own rotation during this stressful and busy time.

Also, at some point, I would recommend buying Circuit Max because it is tons of fun and tough!

Good luck!

I've started to make some of the recipes from the nutrition part of P90X just to see what's involved and if I like them. I have to say that I'm very impressed with how yummy the recipes are. If the fitness part is as good as the nutrition aspect, I shouldn't be disappointed.
Thanks for your advice, Kara. :)
