I've listened to editions of This American Life online, but I don't know if they podcasts you can subscribe to. I would imagine they do.

Guilty as charged. I love to watch Top Chef and hate to cook. All of the endless shopping for the right ingredients, washing, slicing, dicing, and the clean up! If only real life cooking was like TV cooking. A few seconds of preparation here and there and VOILA: a perfectly finished dish! Wouldn't it be lovely.

NPR has several podcasts on iTunes. I subscribe to Planet Money and This American Life. (and now Fresh Air!)

TAL is a series of interviews/stories/acts based on a particular theme (sometimes loosely based). A couple of good episodes that immediately come to mind are: Classifieds, Testosterone (TeTe suggested that one), The Ghost of Bobby Dunbar. They're all good, though. It's a very creative and smartly done show.
