order of multiple workouts in a rotation?

Hi everyone -

For the rotation I am currently following, today calls for a 30-minute run, Leaner Legs, and then abs (yikes!). Does it matter what order I do these in? I'm inclined to do Leaner Legs first so that I can go really heavy on fresh legs, and then do my 30 minutes of cardio (not running) and then abs. Is there something especially important about going in the order that they are listed?

I hope to start my workout in the next 45-60 minutes so any quick responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Mel

I don't think it matters at all and your reason is good...go for what you want to concentrate on.

I think the order you want to do it in will work well, for the reason you mentioned (wanting to go heavy on fresh legs). I can't imagine doing Leaner Legs at my best after a 30-minute run!

The 'run first' order could work if the run is seen more as a warm-up for legs, and is a 'light' run rather than a tough sprint.

I'm a firm believer that different tactics work for different people, and we need to find for ourselves what works best for us. Try it your way this time, then next time you do it, try it the way it's listed, so you can see what difference the two orders have for you.

Thanks to you both. I'm off to it now -- if you see someone hobbling through the grocery store later, it may very well be me!
