Ok...so I learned something new this morning

I did my first workout of 2007 this morning. I did Basic Step. I was going to do it twice to get a good hour steady step workout done...well about 5 minutes into it I got really dizzy and the whole workout I was like a zombie. I had no energy and I was just blah...what a way to start the new year eh? I am going to start eating a banana before I workout since I workout first thing in the morning. Anyway, so that's my enlightenment for 2007...lol

When you start an exercersise routine, make sure you start at it slowly. The reason being is injury, pulled muscles...and perhaps overdoing it a bit, could cause dizziness. I would start off with 30 minutes or less.

There is Cathe's Beginner Rotation in the "Rotation Forum" try that before you do one hour of cardio. My body always needs to be acclimated for that length of time or things start to happen that is very unpleasent.

If you are still feeling dizzy after another workout, please check with your doctor, and make sure it isn't something else.

You started off wonderfully, just take it nice and easy is all. I'm very proud of you, and please update us on your progress.
