Good Morning !!

Everyone sleeping in today?

I wish I could have. I had a weird headache last night that actually hurt more LAYING down. I slept maybe an hour later today, wish it was more. Took some tylenol/motrin and I feel great now!

My plan is to do a Turbo Jam + some ab work. I think maybe the Ball work from B&G's, that always gets me!

29 ALMOST 30 whaaaa!!!! NO MORE B-DAY'S!!! Hi ladies! Little hungover last night and it wasn't quite my b-day but my friends where telling the bartenders that my b-day was in 2 hrs:) And tonight i'm goin out:)! Oh well i'm getting my party on I don't go out much LOL! Today heavy cardio to sweat out the alcohol! Yesterday did 4DS bi's tris LIC abs only. We'll see if I start workin out now or go back to bed mmm.....
Chris glad your feeling beter. Sounds like an awesome workout you're doing!

Today is a rest day..Chris has a baseball game again today. so, we will be doing that today.

Chris, what a miserable night for you! I can't believe you feel like working out -- hopefully it'll make you feel better.

I'm planning on a nice long run today, but couldn't go this morning because it was too dark to get one in before time for soccer. So, soccer first, then a run. We have friends who like to cook coming over later today (to cook for us!). Hopefully I'll be out of the shower by then. :)

Did you guys see that article on total body workouts that was posted in the open discussion? Wonder what you thought of it.

I ended up doing Turbo Jam: Fat Blaster. It's 30 minutes of intervals. A good short sweat! Which wasn't the most conducive for B&G Bonus Stability Ball Abs, (slippery!), but I did that one too! I love that workout, though I could NOT tilt my hips up on the ball side to side. (Again, very slippery , but awkward too).

Hey Randi!! : Happy LAST BIRTHDAY to you ! God, girl, you are a spring chicken compared to me :confused:! Sounds like you're having fun there either way...

Beth: Hey! Actually, the headache went away, and that made me feel like a MILLION bucks! I was getting a bit depressed thinking about going through the day with one of my headaches. So i was pumped to do a work out! Enjoy your run today! I'm definitley going to try one next week. I didn't want to go out this week, because I know it's going to kill my legs, and I didn't want to be sore for the JDRF Walk tomorrow. I did read a post about TBW. It was interesting. It's pretty much what I've been doing this past month's rotation (but doing mostly circuits). To tell you the truth, I don't notice any real difference this month than any other month with strength/muscle gains or with weight loss (eats haven't been clean, though). I do think that mixing it up is important though. Alternating maybe TBW with Split Body workouts. Did you read the article linked to the post? About not working the abs? I do NOT agree with that either. and I've been doing side moves for years, and do NOT have a thicker "middle". .... That's my

Chris, I did read that article -- and not that I'll ever be wearing a bikini again in my life -- I felt a little silly reading it to be honest. But yes, I wondered about the ab stuff -- I've never had a thick middle and have almost always pretty consistently done abs work.

Hey, your walk is tomorrow, eh? I don't know if you'll even see this post, but I hope you have a great day with it! I'm sure it's a lot of fun -- hope your toe doesn't let you down!

My husband noticed that I'm getting a pooch from all the bad eating I've been doing the last week+. I really have to stop! I don't know what's up with me. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I think I have to just forget about -- the more I think about it the worse I do.

I'm off from work tonight () I'm just a LITTLE bit happy about that!

I had asked for it off , because the walk is from 8:30a until who knows when, I'd never be able to do it in between working overnights.

So I've had the best Saturday ever here. I ate so much better than my usual, and feel so much better too. I've still got the evening to go though...


Beth, Thanks for the well wishes for the walk. I should be ok! My 3 boys are coming with me (hubby has to work so he is not) and my SIL is going to. So they could carry me if they had to!!! :eek: I know it about that article, I'm like looking at the pictures of those WOMEN in it, saying this is NOT for me anyways...
It sounds like you're in a bit of a funk with eating. Maybe the it is the change of season? You do get less daylight in CA, right? Maybe it's effecting you. Are you going to start up a rotation next week? I think you need a good rotation week!! How is your tetanus arm and boo-boo elbow feeling?

So I'm just gonna hang here for a bit and listen to iTunes and drink my peppermint tea, while the boys play Wii. I love Saturday night !
