Hi all! It's nice to be back here checking in.
From last night....Chris, I know, they should have done a urinanalysis right away. Would have saved us 10+ days of worrying about the fever and an additional 3 day hospital stay. I'm so glad that's all it was, but a bit peeved that it took so long to figure out. And a bit mad at myself for not insisting they test for it. Although I really didn't think that was the issue either. But, that's my only complaint about the whole ordeal. Her doctors are miracle workers and the nurses were just amazing. I have to say that nurses and teachers are two of the most underecognized and important professions there are.
Ivy, it's just our dads that are sick - my DH is OK - so far at least! Hope you have a great trip and your DH's mouth is better soon. That's no fun!
Chris, I have to say...your son had a point about wanting to see the real him in the picture! Makes sense to me! I'll never forget the year I made sure the boys all had nice shirts to wear for picture day, ironed them and had them all laid out for them. I thought all went fine. Well, two weeks later the pictures come back and there is Ian in his red Gap hoodie. Never took his jacket off for the pictures! We had him take them again on retake day, but thinking back we should have just kept the ones in his jacket! Definitely showed the real him!
Beth, sounds like a day of rest would be good! You don't want to hurt yourself even more. Ohhh, get the dog!! She sounds adorable.
Kathy, how was Kickmax? I have mixed feelings about that one. Are you following a rotation?
Vilma, I missed a bunch of threads, but who and where is Sally? I'm assuming it's a pet?
Today was Jari Love's Ripped and Chiseled. Lots and lots of reps, but a nice change of pace. Tomorrow will be some type of cardio - still deciding.
Hope you all have a great day and workouts!
Joanne
