Good morning ladies..

Another rainy day here..Ugh! Today is our library day. Workout today is Low Max. The rotation says to do premix 1. But, I think I am going to do the entire workout. I really like Low Max...

Lauren had a great time with her dad yesterday. She was telling me about it last night with a smile. Vic took her to the community college too. He had business there for work. She enjoyed that too..Great day for her. Chris and I had a great time here too. He had PE class and I took him to lunch and we went to the grocery store and watched some movies...It is nice to do one on one things with them sometimes..

Ok, today they are back to school lessons. NOt that they are happy about this information.

Be back later..

Good Morning, Everyone!

Kathy: Still raining there? Rain drags me down, don't send it this way!!! Lowmax is a good one!!

Beth: That gym sounds soooo cool!! Is it just for kids? .. Thanks for the support yesterday about Zach. That was the worst thing that has happened so far, besides when he was first diagnosed. It's not been a good week with his blood sugars.

I'm so tired today. I'm wondering if it's from emotional exhaustion. Can that be? I've had so much this week. AND, I have wicked DOMS in my butt today. The "grimace" when you sit to pee DOMS

I have to go get some black/dark pants to wear to my neighbors memorial service tomorrow and then do grocery shopping. I think I may do that first (now) and then do IM2 and some sort of ab work when I come back, after lunch. I'm dreading the pants buying. Dreading it.

Last night, as much as I wanted to, I did NOT stress eat , once again. I did nibble on a few peanuts, but other than that, kept to my regular healthy snacks. At least I have that!

BBL!

Good morning! I'm always so happy to come here and "see" you guy! :D

Kathy, sounds like everyone in your family had a great day yesterday -- nice experiences for all of you! It is so nice to get that one on one time. Sorry about the rain, but it sounds kind of nice to be in the library on a rainy day. We had rain in the forecast for today, but it dried up -- Dylan and I are both disappointed. He is the rain lover. Re: lowmax -- that is one I always dread, I think because I was so sore one day when I did it and it just seemed like torture! I should really do it again.

Chris, I'm sure you are tired from all the emotional upheaval! Good luck with the pants shopping -- remember how slimming black is. ;) How is Zach today?

That gym is just for kids, darn it! :D

I did PUB today -- that's the most I've worked my upper body in a good long time, but I did it! I went pretty light with weights compared to normal, though ironically I was closest on shoulder weights! Go figure! I paused after the upper body and before abs so that I could do my swings (could not face my heaviest kbell today after all that upper body work, even after all my preaching about how it's all about the legs!), and then I did some of my chiro stuff, and, well, I ended up skipping abs because I ran out of time. I'll try to do them later, but you know that never works very well for me!

Hottie, I keep forgetting to answer your question about the KCM kb -- it is from her 30 minute series, but it's from the ones that were released quite a while ago (first batch), so it's not brand new. Joanne sort of answered.

Joanne, how's your dad? How's Caitlyn? How's your cough?

Hope everyone has a great day -- I'm sure I'll be scarce since it's Thursday......

Hey Again!

Did my shopping, got my black pants. Yes, black *IS* slimming, Beth! I really think it's the brand of pants, but I got Lee again and I fit into a size 6! I know I'm probably more of an 8, though. When I first lost weight, I was down to a 4. *sigh*. I have a feeling I could never get there again. So anyways, their "sizing" worked , I bought 3 pairs! LOL! I remember you saying how you bought those size 4's at that home party, Beth? It works!!

I also did my grocery shopping. I'm proud of myself this week. This was my ONE shopping day. (I was used to going multiple times during the week and "just picking up one thing" , which turned into $50 worth!). So I think this does save us some $$.

I actually did feel more energized when I got home. But, having some major DOMS in my lower end from DISC 17 yesterday. I figured I'd do an IMAX. Went downstairs, and threw in IM3! I got through 6 intervals, and my freakin calf pulled a little. Instead of pushing it , like I did before, I just cooled down, and finished up. It's feeling tight/sore still. Crap. hope it doesn't end up being a problem. I also did Med Ball Abs from Abs Circuit.

Beth: WTG on PUB! And very cool you got the shoulder weight work in. How is your shoulder feeling? Sounds like the chiro is really working for you!

Yes, Joanne, do tell us how Caitlyn and your dad are..!!

Zach just left on his bike for his paper route. Need I even tell you I feel nervous?? BUT.. he did check his sugar, have a snack, and has his phone and sugar tabs with him!

I have his teacher/parent conference tonight at 7:15. I'm such a old futz, I hate going out after it gets dark anymore. I just want to get on my jammies and mybig fuzzy white robe and chill.

Hi ladies.

((Chris)), I'm so sorry to hear about what happened with Zach yesterday. How scary. So glad he is OK. Yes, I'm sure you are definitely exhausted from the stress. It's been a rough week. I hate shopping for clothes - what's with the lighting in those dressing rooms??

Beth, I had to laugh when I read you were disappointed about no rain! We just went through a really rainy period where it rained almost every day for two weeks. I would have been happy to share! I'm sure it felt great to do PUB!! Caitlyn is back at school today. She was fever-free yesterday, although she was mopey all day. She was so scared to go back to school today, not sure why. She get saying she was worried she did something wrong on the work they sent home, or she wasn't going to know the words on the spelling test (she knows them all) or the answers to the science test. Just having a total meltdown. :(. I'm sure she did fine once she got there, but I must say I didn't mind walking out the door for work and letting DH take over this morning. My dad - the situation is so frustrating. He's basically in limbo. Still bleeding, they don't seem to know what to do with him. I was telling my mom maybe it's time to transfer him somewhere else or at least get another opinion.

Kathy, how fun for the kids to have one on one time with each of you. Enjoy the library. It's weird - I've done LowMax quite a few times - sometimes I love it, other times I can't wait for it to be over!

Today I did the step premix from cardio fusion. Good, except that BM2 warm up goes on forever!

Today is Ian's 12th birthday. He's been dying for an ipod. I told him he can get one when he turns 13. I really meant it at the time. But, I couldn't think of anything to get him. I though about a new bike, which he needs, but he's not going to be able to ride it till the spring once the snow starts around here. So, I got him the ipod last night. He's been doing great in school, so I figured he deserved it. He is going to be so excited. He wants strawberry cheesecake for his cake, which is good, cause I'm not really crazy about it, so I won't eat it!

OK, I had an epiphany last night. Well, not really - but I caught a view of myself in the mirror that was very unflattering and got so frustrated. I think it was enough to get myself back on track with eating. Except I've been good today and I am STARVING!! I'm holding off till dinner, though.

OK, must go finish up some work...

Joanne

Chris, you owe me a drink!! Size 6 is awesome - you are tiny!! I got down to a 6 when I lost weight after Caitlyn, but settled in at an 8. Now that's creeping up to a 10. :( I refuse to buy any bigger pants, so I will get back down if it kills me!!

Joanne: Glad Caitlyn is PHYSICALLY better. Poor thing dreading school. I hated missing school when I was little too. Getting back into it , not knowing what they were doing and missing things. In fact, I remember being absent during math facts of addition 7's and 8's, because I'm still not very good at them! .... Sorry your dad is in limbo and STILL bleeding. Why do they say he is? They still don't know? Weird! He does have a urologist, right? I would ask for another opinion. does he need transfusions? Is he bleeding that bad?.... Hey, you need to go to Kohls and go buy some Lee Relaxed Fit Jeans, I guarantee, you will fit in a 6! (I really am an 8, could be a 10 in a few brands, i bet!). Yep, I need to focus on what my fat butt looks like too before I put my hand in the "cookie jar". ... You should bring in some little snacks to work. Like fruit and little fiber one bars and string cheese and yogurts to help you through the afternoon. I read recently to "add some healthy fat" to your lunch to help carry you through the afternoon. (like avocado, or olive oil. I bet flax seed too).

Okay, I really should be doing something productive!

And you can take me up on that drink any time you're in this part of the world, Joanne! I'll gladly pay up!

WTG on the pants, Chris! Yes, that vanity sizing works! And honestly, I have everything from a 4 to 8 in my closet and they all fit about the same -- sizing is crazy. I have been doing better with the eating -- suddenly I am in the right frame of mind again -- for me it really all is about what's going on in my head. I'm on day 4 of being good. Have you guys checked out bodyrock.tv? That woman, not that I'll ever even resemble her, is really inspiring to me!

my kids are howling at me.... gotta cut this short!
