Good morning ladies..

Did anyone shop today or plan to shop today? Not me! I do not enjoy going when it is that crazy...

So, I will workout instead. Today will be Disc 27: shoulders, biceps & triceps. My legs are still feeling yesterday's DOMS..My eating was a little bad, of course, yesterday. Glad I got some cardio in since I ate too much...

Oh I just wanted to comment that I agree with you both Hottie and Chris!! I am so thankful to have you ladies to share my day with everyday..Thanks for being there!! Big hug!!

I'm contemplating my workout though. First I will do DISC 24 of MESO 2, my LAST one!! Back and Biceps! I can't believe I'll be onto Recovery week and then MESO 3. I'm pretty happy with doing STS during the holidays, it's kept me on track with workouts, and I like seeing the results (mostly upper body) when I'm feeling so "blobbish".

Anyways, I'll do that and then am going to add on a cardio. I think I may do one of the steps from 4DS. My calf has felt fine for the last 4-5 days.

The boys are watching Home Alone again this morning (they watched it last night and DVR'd it!). Jake just cracks UP at this one, he's so funny!

Kathy: Good luck today with your workout! I know I had some moderate DOMS in my legs yesterday from my Wed's STS, which didn't help matters when I felt so full and wanted to crash! .... So did you do a mishmosh of the leg weight work the other day? How did it go?

Hottie: I bet you were up when I got up (7am EST)!! Hope you got some good Black Friday deals! And enjoyed the cheesecake! I certainly enjoyed ALL the pies we had yesterday (every one in our family requested a different pie this year. I made one, bought 3 at the bakery. And they were way too freakin good!)
 
Group hug, yes! I have more consistent communication with you all than I do with a lot of people in my life..... very thankful for you and every day I look forward to "chatting" with you!

But, I'm soooo confused.... we have two threads going! What am I to do?!

We had a nice thanksgiving, but we did end up picking up a third boy, so it's a little hectic here this morning. I'm just about to go out and run ccpp -- penance for all the extra calories yesterday. It's a nice morning for a run -- cool and overcast.

The movie didn't bother my 10 year old, Chris -- just the 8 year old -- for what that's worth. Home Alone -- my boys would love that! I have to remember to get that from netflix.

Ok, I'm anxious to go run.... more later...... no shopping for me, I don't think -- unless you tell me about an unmissable deal. I did buy some dvds from totalfitnessdvds.com yesterday because of her sale...... it's still going on and the details are on the front page..... I decided to go ahead and pre-order Lalo 2.
 
CCPP -- done! One hour of running. I think it's really a little longer than that but my ipod skipped a couple of times so I had to go back. Also had to pause sometimes to get in position for another hill. It was a really good run! I wondered why I don't do this every week, but it seems I either have really great runs, or really crappy runs, and lately there were so many crappy ones that I just didn't really want to. And now I'm eating leftovers -- I added scrambled eggs to leftover broccoli casserole, hoping it'll stick me longer -- it's really good this way!!

Staples? I don't get it......

Just about time to deliver our friend to his parents..... Larry is still in bed!
 
Quick question before I go to the grocery store..

Which KCM 30 minutes to fitness DVDs are the best? Say, if I picked 2 of them. I also wanted to get Squeeze Stronger, so I thought 2 of the KCM's and SS to get for the discount....

I really like the cardio with athletic step and plyo, but with shock cardio coming, that's probably overkill. The body training one is definitely unique, so that might be a good one (I still haven't done the second half on that one!). There is a discussion on vf about the weights one with a couple of people favoring weights, but other people favoring muscle definition. I think I liked MD better than the weights one, fwtw. Let me know if you have specific questions.....
