Hi Chris and Beth and all others! Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am so thankful for all of you and the camarderie we've built over the last few months. I've had some tough times and it's nice to be able to come here and "talk." And, you've all kept me on track with my workouts. If you all could come over here and control my eating, that would be even better!
Chris, how was your dinner? Enjoy the day with the kids. I'll be doing laundry too. That's almost an everyday thing around here!
Beth, wow, what a workout!! Very cool. I may have to borrow that idea.
Today, after stepping on the scale

, I decided I needed cardio instead of upper body weights, which was on the rotation. And, my arms are really sore for some reason. Anyway, I did Amy's hi/lo extreme. Tomorrow I may do the upper body from Squeeze Stronger instead of the PS split.
DH took Tully (our dog) to the vet yesterday. $109 later :0, they said she strained her back. She got a steroid shot and some doggy pain pills. She's much better today. She's not supposed to climb stairs for a few days, so the boys all slept down in the basement with her last night so she'd stay down there. We have to carry all 65 pounds of her up the stairs to go out. Well, of course, last night she was all the way upstairs with me, three half flights up.
DH just took the boys to their annual "Turkey Bowl". He started having a soccer game for the neighborhood kids and some friends at our park a few years ago on turkey day and it's become a tradition. Then we have to go pick up my dad from the nursing home (he's being set free for the day!) and then go to my parents for dinner.
Have a wonderful day all!
Joanne
