Happy Wednesday Ladies!


Well I did manage to get some kbell swings while fixing dinner. Decided that I will just do whatever exercise I can - I'm hoping I can get back on schedule in being consistent soon.

DD court appearance was ok. We waited over 5 hours since there were over 400 cases being heard yetserday.

She only had to pay just under 200 dollars and she was very nervous although she never did have to stand in front of the judge. The ADA took her declaration and that was it. Oy ! These things are like all day doctors appointments - very draining. Glad its over and done.


Okay I really don't see the need to go out anywhere today - oh wait I forgot napkins and bottled water but hopefully I can get back here and do personals - I feel like an awlful checkin er lately .

I need to catch up with you all.:eek:

Hey Vilma: Good to hear the court went ok for your daughter. Except the wait! Ugh! Hope you brought some good books! But I know, what a waste of a day. Good for YOU to get in some KB's! Where there's a will, there's a way.

This morning I'm heading out to the dentist with my 2 youngest, we're all getting cleanings. And then it's OUR Thanksgiving. We're going to eat around 5p, so I'll be cooking all day on and off. Scheduled workout is PS: LEGS & ABS, but since that's an hour long, I'm going to try instead to fit TOMORROW'S workout: PS: CHEST SHOULDERS & TRI's. That's a quickie!

Better go brush my teeth and floss them up pretty for the dentist!!!

Vilma, good for you for fitting in what you can. What a dreadful day that sounded like in court. Glad it's over for you and it turned out OK. I'm sure your daughter is relieved.

Chris, enjoy your dinner tonight with your family. I saw you did the whole Cardio Fusion on yesterday's thread. Great job!!

I subbed Amy's All Pump Extreme Legs for PS Legs this morning. I think I may be hurtin' tomorrow! I also did the floor work from PS Legs and some of the abs.

Beth, I'm still thinking about other cardio for you. You said you have a bike and elliptical, right? Have you ever tried cardio coach or itrain workouts? Itrain has workouts specifically for the bike and elliptical. Makes it alot more fun.

Our poor dog is acting strange. DH and the kids said yesterday she was kind of crying at times and shaking. :( She's eating fine and no other symptoms. She was fine when I got home, but then when it was time to go to bed, she didn't want to come up the stairs from the basement to go out. I finally went upstairs and then she came up the stairs when I left. It's kind of freaking me out, like something spooked her. She woke me up twice last night kind of wimpering on the side of the bed. I let her come up on the bed and then she was fine. DH was thinking of taking to the vet, but since she can't tell them what's wrong I'm not sure what they could do.

I'm not sure if I'll be back today (I probably will, who am I kidding? :)), but just in case I'm not, everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

what I learned in my workout this morning.....

.....sweat really does its job! I was doing my workout and feeling so so so hot and I so wanted to open the sliding glass door and feel the cool air, but it is fall, afterall, and I knew my kids would have a fit if they woke up and the door was open. So, I toughed it out. Well, then I got sweaty and it occurred to me that I no longer felt hot! That sweat really cooled me off! Ok, I know this is pretty basic, but I've never felt it that strongly. Nice when things work, eh? :)

Ok, so my workout.... I'm so excited because I really did it. I saw the post last night about imax 3 and the all blast premix, and decided I'd check out what those blasts are. I've never mastered imax 3 because the step part is tricky for me, so I thought what a great way to avoid what I can't do. Well, I noticed there is no warmup in the blast only premix, so I thought I'd find which combo looked the easiest and do the warmup and that as a warmup. Well, scanning through it and looking at the timing of the premixes, I decided I could handle the 6-10 step/blast combo + all blast combo. So, that was on my mind. I did it! After doing the first premix, I really wasn't sure I would make it through all the blasts, but suddenly I'd finished number 8 and I knew I could make it through. I did take breaks, but it was great.

Chris, happy "Thanksgiving" to you! I hope you have a wonderful meal with your boys.

Ok, and does anyone else have an image in their mind of our Superwoman Vilma in the kitchen, kettlebell swingining in one arm while with the other she is stirring and tasting a soup? :) You go, girl!

Joanne, in case you missed my post last night, they're going to cook the turkey in some coq au vin fashion.

Wow, Beth, that's some cardio you did! So, it was 15 blasts in all??? Great job!! Can't wait to hear how the turkey is.

Yea, superwoman Vilma! I hope no one comes into the kitchen unexpectedly and gets clocked with a kbell! ;)

I just finished up PS: CST. Not bad for a 40 Minute workout! My muscles feel worked. I'm in between cooking things. My turkey is smelling up the house MMMMMM!, the boys are playing inside/outside. It just feels nice. No worries on cleaning or picking up. THAT'S nice too!

Still lots of work... but it's ok. No one's paying attention.. :p

Joanne: Your leg workout sounds challenging today! I'm tossing around in my head about shaking it up tomorrow for legs. Maybe doing Power Half Hour Thigh trimmer and TJ: Booty Sculpt. Or maybe just PS: LEGS, because that is tough in itself! Sorry about your doggy! It does sound like he's having some pain somewhere? I'm sure you checked her paws and legs for boo boo's?

for doing all those blasts in IMAX3! I swear, once you get into something, there's no stopping us! I'm always super intimidated by IMAX3, but always end up enjoying the crap out of it, I love to JUMP! Too funny about your "built in" air conditioner! Who knew??

Yes, 15 blasts in all -- try it sometime. I think I may do low max this way sometime, too. I guess I am a little crazy about cardio, saying I didn't want to do step and then doing this! Yes, Joanne, I have cardio coach and like that, but my problem is I want to go outside and run, and this time of year that's not so easily done with the dark factor. I am going to do ccpp on the elliptical Saturday morning -- we'll see how that goes!
