New England - MA, CT, VT, NH, RI, ME Cathe Get-together?????

Hi everyone!

This is a follow up from anyone in MA thread?

Wow there really are quite a few of us New Englanders out there!

What do you think about meeting up some time! I've been inspired by the CA, TX, OH ladies!

Any one in?

When
As someone said this time of year might not be bad (assuming we don't pick a blizzard) or perhaps in March?

Where?
The other thread had folks from Boston area, W. MA, S. VT, S. NH.
So is Central MA good?

What?
Maybe we could meet for dinner and those that could stay over could?

(Hey Sparrow, I was born and raised in Barrington RI, all my family and friends still live there...your definitely in!)

When- how about a Saturday in Feb.? Early March?

Where- still suggesting Central MA, along the Pike, Springfield area.

What-looks like a lunch or dinner would be most practical.

If there is enough of a concensus, I will help Robyn find some suggestions for restaurants and perhaps get creative with some kind of Cathe/fitness trivia-type entertainment. (I was a cruise director in a former life!)

Hey Robyn, I hope you know I was joking, not complaining.

Slightly, OT, you'd be surprised at how many people don't know where Rhode Island is! When I first moved elsewhere I actually had people say to me, after asking where I was from, "Is that off the coast of California?" and, also, my favorite, "Oh! So you're Greek?"

If it's not too far, I would be game. If anybody is interested in shopping, there's the Lee outlets right off the pike, which would be an easy place to meet, and Lee or Great Barrington has some very nice restaurants.

Sorry I've been so busy recently. I haven't posted much.

Actually that sounds nice western MA is very nice.
Sounds like maybe a lunch and then folks who want can go shopping.

We of course don't want it in the middle of a snow storm.

I think it would be great. It's about 2hrs from Boston but I'd love to meet up.

Western MA is a bit far for me
It would be a 2 hour ride for me from work or 3 hours from home!!!

Yep I think we will need 2 seperate get togethers on in Boston and another maybe Western MA!

I think that be way fun! I would prefer Springfield area, Any month but February. I work through tax season at H&R Block and Feruary is busy, busy for us. What about going for a couple of hours to some pool/spa? We could all sit in a hot tub and chat! I'm in Vermont.
