Hi everybody
Well here's what's going on with me....NOTHING!...lol. Would you believe that after all this premature labor and bed rest that nothing is happening? Cervix has even gotten longer! Very frustrating but the end is in sight. We've decided that if Katie is not here by the 26th, we will go ahead and have a c-section. I do not have the option of being induced because my Dr has now taken on the policy that he will not induce a patient that has had a previous c-section (my son was born my emergency c-section). He has seen ruptures due to this and said that the results are catastrophic...no thanks! I really want to give birth 'naturally' but am approaching wanting this over more. Plus, if she is born on the 26th then all 3 of my children will have the 26th for their birthday. Zachary was 8/26/94, Jillian was 11/26/98 and Katie will be 02/26/02. That's cute isn't it?! I go for another u/s tomorrow where we will also get a weight. My Dr is going to also be out of town the next 2 Thursday and Friday's so he wants me to have an u/s before he leaves. That way if he sees any sign that intervention might be necessary, he'll go ahead and do it then. He doesn't anticipate any reason for it but he just wants to be on the safe side. I appreciate that very much.
So I guess it really could be any day. I'm really trying to enjoy these last couple of weeks since this is my last pregnancy. I keep telling myself that I'll never feel these movements again and I'll regret trying to rush this. I can't help but look forward to holding her, being out of pain and never having another contraction again. Not to mention....getting back to my workouts!!
Hope everyone else is doing and feeling well
