Today I'm hoping to get a swim in. The weather is still hot ~ temps near 90 with lows in the 70's. If I don't swim, I'll do something else.

Hi ladies. I feel better today. On Saturday I went and had a chair massage. It seemed to clear the sinus pain. Maybe KM for tonight.

eta::: I canceled my STS cardio order. I spent so much $$$ on my clothes for DS's bar mitzvah, I was feeling guilty about all the money I was spending on me, and money is tight now, so I canceled. I really only want MMA, and I may order that later.

Here's my workout I did this morning:

2 min. straight: swings with the 25#kb:
30 seconds 2 handed, 30 seconds h2h, then repeat

SIM
1/2 snatch: 30#kb (up from last week)
bb get up sit up 35#: 3
alternate clean and dip:2 20#kb
total pushups: 63
15 seconds rest between exercises


added:
**pullups: 8
** swings with Bertha:
30 seconds on/ 30 seconds off:
3 minutes: 21 swings per 30 seconds

NOTES:
* upped my weight for the 1/2 snatch:)
*completed 11 1/2 snatches in 45 seconds left, then did it again with the right!
*swings with Bertha were hard!! kinda a use it or lose it thing, and I lost it not swinging in 2 weeks. I will be swinging all week this week!!:confused:

Yes, it is raining cats and dogs here! My front and backyard are both under water. So far no water in the house! Whew! Poor Max has only been able to go in the backyard and not for his usual walks. So far the roads by me are clear but there have been 100 road closures in my county alone. Now on to the workout:

I did Lalofit today (first time). This is a circuit workout (high rep/low weight). Lalo doesn't count at all but he is easy on the eyes!

Squat low and come up into Military Press (I forget is this a sots press?) - 10#/20 reps
Military press and chest press - 10#/15 reps
Reverse lunges - 30 reps/alternating legs - 10#
Jumping jacks - 40
Hi knees/butt kicks - 15 secs. each
forward lunge touching dumbbells to floor and reach up into military press - 10#/30 reps - alternating legs
Plie squat with chest press (palms to ceiling) - I think he did 16 but I did about 8 with 8#
Lunge back into knee lift - 8#/15 reps each leg/hands in static position palms up
run - 15 seconds; butt kicks - 15 seconds
1-legged deadlifts (no weight) 15 each leg
Squats with shadow boxing - 20 reps/8#
Side raise and front raise (arms in hammer curl position) - 8#
Arm circles (no weights) forward and reverse
1-legged alternating squats
Alternating Side kicks with march in between (kicks done slowly)
Alternating side lunge (touching weights to floor) with military press - 30 reps (10#)
plie squat and chest press with 5 pulses (10 reps/5#)
Balance on one leg with lat raise (5#/10 reps each leg)
Upper cuts (5#)
Squats with side kicks (5#) alternating 30 reps
Alternating squats each side
20 pushups with 2 seconds at bottom of each
Bicycles - 20 with 1 second hold
boat - hold 15 seconds
bicycles grabbing each leg
side crunches (squirms - grabbing outside of foot)
15 burpees
20 pushups
Bicycles grabbing leg (40)
Spider pushups (10)
Seated figure 8 (5#/20 reps)
Squat jumps

For some reason, I wasn't feeling that great and I felt nauseous at some points through the workout but felt better towards the end. Burned 478 calories. Wasn't out of breath but just felt tired.

Melissa - Hi! Miss you too!

Deanie - Sorry to hear you cancelled Shock Cardio but I'll let you borrow MMA if you want to try it out. Then you can decide if you need it. Great job on the snatches!

Rhonda - I used to love chair massages! We used to have health fairs at my old job and they always gave chair massages.

Jane - Sounds like you had fun workouts this weekend. I bet HSC was easy compared to what you usually do.
