Hi Girls,

I will start this again, maybe we will have just as much success as we had yesterday:)

I went to my friends house last night and by the time I got there, they were 1/2 in the bag. Most of them anyway, but it didn't take me to long to blend in;) I only had 2 coolers and 2 shooters and I was in the mood for a party but one of my friends left at 12 so I figured I would hitch a ride with her b/c I didn't bring any money for a cab.I think that was a wise move b/c I feel better today.I probably should have drank some water before I went to bed, but I didn't. By the time I got home I had laugh lines around my mouth from smiling so much. There is always someone doing or saying something stupid and its enough to keep you laughing constently! They are a funny bunch.

So, I got my workout in yesterday and I think I should be able to workout tonight.Hopefully.I am going to try and decide if I am going to do another week of the same rotation or if I am going to mix it up a bit.Not to much though.Maybe just use some different workouts in place of other ones? I really like GS Legs so I don't want to part with it to much.Maybe I will do 1 GS legs and 1 Legs& Glutes...plus the floor work of GS Legs another day.
I have gotten alot stronger since doing this rotation though.Last night when I was doing BC, I did all of the push ups and tricep dips without alot of pain. And I have only been working chest once a week.

O.k..I will stop talking now. Last shift and I am off until Wed night! BUT..the girl who always calls in sick is suppose to be in tomorrow morning, so she may be convinently sick AGAIN.
Lori:)

Hey, what's up! This is a first, I am posting on Saturday and Sunday. :)

Well, my hair is MUCH sorter, and I really do like it! It is just below my shoulders now. I didn't take a picture because I didn't want it styled. It took forever to cut, and I had other things that I needed to do (it would have taken another 45 min. to style x( ) Well, I got something really spicy for our anniversary! :) It is something that DH has never seen me in before, so it should be good! If you don't hear from me on Thursday, don't worry. I just had a late Wednesday night. ;) TMI? sorry! :p

I am exhausted, and I don't know how on earth I am going to do eight miles today. I didn't sleep a wink last night, and I don't know why. I watched the moon go across our window, and then I saw the sky get lighter, and lighter... until the sun came up. I don't know what's up.

Well, I am off to get ready for church! Have a great day everyone, and don't forget to give God a few praises! :)

ETA, Lori, I am happy that you had a good time last night! I am sorry I didn't respond to your post before, but I am TIRED! I think it is awesome that your body strength is really improving, too. It should, youare a work horse! :D

Good sunny morning everyone: It looks beautiful outside here in MN, BUT it's only going to get around 30 degrees. Better than getting more snow, though!

Lori - It's great to have such awesome friends isn't it?? Our neighbors are like what you described your friends - always something to be laughing about or at! That is wonderful!!! Oh, one thing I found to really help me after a night "out" having a few is Pedialyte. Take a few drinks of that before going to bed and you will feel much better in the morning. Kids and babies take it when they have the flu to replenish themselves and I guess it must replenish whatever it is we lose while drinking, too. Grape flavor is pretty good. :D

Missy - Have you tried Tylenol PM for helping you sleep? I took one last night and finally had a good night's sleep. I feel wonderful today!!

OK - what am I, a witch doctor today :7 Just some simple advice take it or leave it.

I am going to start the tank top rotation today with added cardio. I am going to put in the PUB instead of PS because I don't have those do you think that should work for me???

I should be around today on and off so I will chat at all of you girls later.

Take care and have a great day!

~Marcia~

Missy, you bought something naughty??? I would warn you about not getting pregnant AGAIN but I know thats impossible.:) Then again, is anything really impossible? I know a girl who got pregnant even though her DH had the job done. She was in her 40's and her children were in University! Not something I want to happen to you!!!

Marica, I love PUB and I have to get that one back.I loaned out PUB,PH,and ME and I love them all.I loaned them out to a really good friend when I got the GS workouts. But now I would like to have them back.I was actually thinking today that I am going to have to ask for them tomorrow or just go over there and snag them. She doesn't use them so why not? And they are mine after all.I hate it when people get a loan of things and they don't return them.I loaned out LM this week and I am hoping my dvd won't get scratched up.If it does...she will just have to buy me a new one, right?
And another thing, my friends come and get my clothes and they don't bring that back either.Another one of my friends came over last night and she wanted a shirt to wear out.I said..." what about the shirt that one as one arm?" (sounds werid hey?) Then when I started looking for it, I said "oh...I think Michelle as it" She also got alone of 2 shirts, 1 pair of jeans and my Tommy coat.My Tommy coat as been gone for about 2 monthes! The winter will be over and I still won't have my coat back.

You guys are thinking...shut up whining and just go get your clothes back! LOL I have so much clothes spread around this town,I don't even know where to start looking for it:+ :7 The jeans I loaned out...she even calls them her jeans. She says "can I have a loan of my jeans"? hahaha Sometimes I wish we were all the same size!
Lori:)

Good Morning girls.

Well, today's the day! Going to the gym in a couple of hours...hopefully I won't fly off the back of the treadmill once I turn the speed up!LOL :p

After I get back from the gym we are heading up to North Jersey to pick up Joey at his Aunt Gina's house where he has been SINCE THURSDAY! I'm about goin' out of my mind!!! LOL I love the time to ourselves but it's been too long w/o him already!;(

After we pick Joey up we are going to head to my mom's for dinner and then finally home.

Once I leave for the gym I probably won't be around again until 8pm or so so have a nice day everyone!:)

Hey there.

Only here for a quickie and then I must get in the shower!

Well, I hopped on the treadmill for a 30 mins run/walk. I started at 3-3.5 for a w/u for a couple of minutes then moved my walking speed I kept around 4 and my runnning..well, jogging speed, I kept between 5 and 5.5 except for about a minute towards the end when I got bold and pushed it up to 6...YIKES! LOL I did 2.3 miles in 30 mins. SLOW, I know but I didn't want to push it...especially since I am not only new to running but ALSO 2 days over due for a rest day this week!

It's a start...and I enjoyed it...it felt good to run. I will definately keep at it and see where it takes me! Thanks for the advice ladies!

I'm outta here until later!

BYE!:+

Wow, not too busy yet today!

We are under a winter storm warning for this afternoon and into tomorrow morning. We'll see how much snow we get. We got about 2 or 3 inches last night. It was SO pretty. We went outside and watched it. There was no wind at all (amazing for here!) and the snow was falling straight down. So peaceful - and quiet. We could hear the train which is miles from here.

Today I must do cardio, but I don't know what yet. I'm having a small migraine (is there such a thing???) and I'm hoping it will go away soon. I took drugs - which I know will make Marcia happy!!! It was actually my presrpition stuff, but it's not working yet and it's been awhile. Any ideas Marcia? :)

Lori - you are getting strong! You and Charlotte can have an arm wrestle. And then you can race Wendy on the treadmill because I think she's going to get addicted to running, aren't you Wendy? Do you love your new gym? Is it just what you were hoping for? How fun for you to get out of the house to do something for YOU!!! Do they have daycare? I bet I missed all of this talk. Sorry.

Missy - I don't even want to know what you have planned for your anniversary!!! I think it will be TMI no matter what it is! :) Your love for your husband is refreshing. When will you post pics of your new hairdo? Surely it won't take 45 minutes to style each time??? New haircuts are sure fun, aren't they? How many curly girls are there here? I think that I have my hair up in all the pics on my picture trail. I'll have to post one with it down. I'll let you all know when I do. I'm sure you just can't wait. Hehehe.

I think I'm gonna make a skirt today. Sound like fun? I'm deep conditioning my hair right now then I'm gonna lay (lie???) down and rest my head for just a bit and hopefully then my head will feel like a million bucks!

Wendy!!! I am so excited for you! Running 2.3 miles in 30 for your first time is GREAT! :7 You should feel so proud!!! I think the first time I ran, I wasn't as wise as you are and I just started sprinting. x( I didn't get very far. ;)

Susan, I bet it felt almost magical to hear a train while the snow fell. That is when things are the most peaceful - that and the day after a snow storm. Everything is so quiet and covered. We didn't have a winter like that this year and it made me a little sad. There is always next year, and I get to live it through you a little! :) My hair really doesn't take that long to style - if I brush it before I get into the shower. Then I can just get out, wrap it up, get dressed, take it down and then put product in it. It will stay in pretty curls. But because he had to comb it to cut it, it would have taken forever, I am not joking. When I straiten my hair forget it. 2 hours, minimum. I watch a movie when I do that because it is soooooo boring, and I have to do something else to get my mind off the pain in my elbow! :p And I won't tell you what we are doing for our anniversary, but it will be fun. ;) so you sew? That is so awesome!!! What kind of stuff do you make? That is the one thing that I don't know how to do that I would love to learn. What kind of machine do you use?

Well, I did it!!! I ran eight miles!!! I didn't do it outside, though, like I wanted. I felt bad leaving because DH had the kids all day yesterday so that I could hang out with my friend, so I watched a movie, his choice, and ran on the treadmill while he relaxed on the bed. He chose Evil Dead, have you guys see that? It is soooooooo funny! We were cracking up the whole time because the special affects were so bad back in the day. The camera angles were really freaky, though, and I was happy we weren't watching in the dark. Anyways, after only a few hours of sleep and eight miles, I am pooped, so I won't see you until tomorrow! xoxoxoxo

Hello!!!

This is the first time I have gotten online today! We have been busy..housework, yardwork, dinner at in-laws, and a trip to home depot, walmart, and shoeshow. Dh bought a new lawnmower and grill. I am very happy he splurged on himself. He works his butt off so he really deserves it!

I ran yesterday so I am pretty sore today. I ran about 3.5 miles and one gigantic hill. This hill is unbelievable. Needless to say, my shins are killing me!

Well, I won't be around much tomorrow. I have my kindergarten practicum so I won't be home until 1:30. I will try to pop in and say hi...if not, hi! :)

Wow - more chatting. How fun!

Whew Missy, I'm glad your hair won't always take that long! Yikes! I know what you mean about straightening it. Mine takes forver. I do it maybe once a year at the MOST. Too much work and too hard on my hair. Oh - I posted a pic of my curly hair for you curly girls. It's in my Dogs, Hair, Etc. album. It was REALLY bright out, so I'm pretty squinty. :)

I sew mostly clothes, but I also have all this fabric to do some small dog quilts to donate to shelters for fundraisers. They're really cute. But I've yet to make any of them! And I'm not that good at sewing. I'm pretty much self-taught and I don't do it enough to get good at it. But I still like it. I have an awesome machine (thanks to my DH). It's a Memory Craft 10,000. It's so amazing. And it's calling my name! I think it misses me. I need to be more productive on my off-work time. It's not like I have kids to take care of, although these animals do require lots of love. I have 2 pit bulls on my lap as I try to type. Gotta love 'em! :)

Congrats to you on your EIGHT mile run! You rock! And congrats to you too Sara! You two and Lori and Wendy should put together a racing team!

Talk to you all later. I'm going to go be productive now.

Thanks Missy for the kudos on the run. I was thinkin' about you today and your 8 miler...how long did that take you? What pace do you normally run at?? I think I was doing between a 10-12 minute mile. Lots of 12 and only about a minute of 10!:p
When I go to the gym on tuesday I am going to w/u and then go straight into a slow jog and I am going to hold that for as long as I can to see how much endurance I have. I wasn't pushing today. I was often cutting back to a fast walk before I had to in order to keep the work out on the milder side. This is not to say that I expect to get very far on Tuesday, LOL, but I want a gauge...I need to know where I stand in order to improve upon it right? :)
DH and I were talking today and he said if said if he had the time, he would love to train to run the NYC marathon! I almost hit the floor! Not because I don't think he could do it but because he can't even commit to doing PUB 2x per week! LOL I would like to do a 5k one day I think...I'll start small!;)

Hello Sara and Susan!:+

I am exhausted tonight! Too much partyin' this weekend since the kiddo was away!;) }( :+ Left about 2pm to head up to pick him up and didn't get back home until about 8:30pm. I feel like a truck ran over my head! LOL I will hit the bed as soon as DH is done watching the Sopranos in the bedroom.

Have a good night everyone!:*

Wendy,

You're doing awesome with your running already. I ran for years and years and never really got better than a 9 minute mile. I could go faster for 5Ks and stuff, but my average was between 9 and 10 minute miles for most runs - and for years I did 5 mile runs and that was it. I never really trained for anything by doing hills, intervals, etc., I just ran. Until my marathon - then I trained differently. I'm trying to do it differently in cycling b/c you just don't get any better if you do the same thing over and over.

Anyway, all that just to say you're off to a great start!

Susan
