Good Morning Ladies:)

I am just getting ready to go home and do you that they had the nerve to make me work last night?;) I mean...come off of it!!

Today I am cleaning up my diet a bit.Its not totally out of wack but I know it could get alot worse if I don't get a grip on things.
Im not sure what my workout will be.I posted my new rotation on yesterdays post,maybe I will post it here to see what everyone thinks of it.
So....I have a parent teacher meeting this afternoon but I am sure I will get my workout in after that.I will be back when I wake up!!

Mon- Run + HST + Abs
Tues KM + GS UB
Wed- Long Run
Thurs Cardio + GS Legs
Fri- Long run
Sat- Run + MM ( or I may do another circuit there)
 
Lori, do you never stop? You are the energizer bunny. Are you on meth? :p Good luck with the conference today, I hope that you get a great report.

DS and DD have been fighting this morning, all morning. I didn't interfere at all this time and just let them go at it, I am SO tired of listening to them. It didn't end well. DD has scratches all over from DS and DS was laying on the ground screaming as loud as he can. I am going to lock them in the bathroom and just let them go at it until they have had enough. I remember fighting with my sister, and my mom would never seperate us, she would just step over us as we were rolling on the ground pulling each other's hair over stolen clothes or whatever. Now she is my best friend and I can't imagine ever disliking her enough to do that! Did any of you guys do that, or do your kids do it?

I have a 3.5 mile hill run. Wish my luck! I have been up since four and am EXHAUSTED!

Good morning, Lori and Missy (and everyone that follows):

Last night I started Cathe's January 06 rotation to kick my weightloss efforts into gear. So, I did BootCamp and the first 5 intervals on IMAX 2 - whew.....I was a tired girl and man are the muscles sore today. I worked em' good }(

Tonight I have step class and I'm so excited to see who shows up. We have been getting new people all the time and it is so fun!! I need to come up with a few new routines, though, the "seasoned" steppers that have been coming from the beginning I don't want to get bored with me going so basic on them. ;-)

We are celebrating a co-workers birthday today so I brought in eggbake and hopefully I won't get too hungry that I eat everything that people bring.

How did you get your legs to still move after all of that? Boot Camp has alot of leg work in it and you still did 5 intervals off Imax 2????? Good golly!

I am going for a steady 30 minute run, do some squats going heavy, plyometrics and some stretching.

How is Ms. Ever-Ready Bunny doing? Has your DD gotten over the fact she is 10 now? LOL!

My children will do that too, even at their ages. DD has the nails and likes to claw her brother and brother will squeeze her arm and leave a bruise. First, it starts out as playing and then it ends up in fighting sometimes, but not always. Kind of gets on my nerves with the clawing and bruising. It if goes on too long, I usually just warn them and everything is fine. LOL! When they were much younger and they behaved that way, I made them sit very close to one another on the couch with their arms wrapped around each other for 30 mins. If they were really mean, I would make them kiss each other on the cheek and say sorry. This worked well.

Good Morning Ladies!!!

Another busy day here!!! I have to get ready and take my dog (a minature ####-zu) to get her hair cut. Then I have to pick up some frontline and grocery shop....with all the kids. I have a friend who is on sprinbreak right now. I called her to see if she wanted to go with me, but she has yet to call me back....

Lori, what is your diet like? Maybe we can share what we eat in a day and that can help all of us "clean" up in areas that are needed. So far today I have had coffee. I usually don't eat right away, but I will eat some oatmeal in just a bit.

Better get a move on...busy, busy, busy. The crazy thing is that next week, I have nothing to do!!! School is out for spring break and I have no place to go. Everything was scheduled for this week.

Well, Charlotte - I wondered the same thing when I started the intervals, but my legs must've been so dumb that they just went through the motions. I was a hurtin' unit, though, I was winded very quickly and actually skipped the blast where she does the genie jumps, for some reason I just hate doing those so I skipped that part, but otherwise muddled through all 5!! :)

Hey there girls! Don't have much time here but I wanted to say hi!

Went to another Spin class this morning! VERY energizing! YEAH! }(
Now I am off to complete the rest of my work out for the day...

GS Back and ab work. I have decided that endurance leg work is just not needed on the same day as a spin class...Lord knows the legs are getting' pummeled enough in the class!:7 }( ;)

I think my mom may have seperated us when we fought but then again...i was the baby and everyone picked up for moi:7 :7 But my brother use to beat me up alot when I was home alone and try out wrestling moves on me.I wouldn't be able to tell you how many times my legs were tied in a knot:+

Sara, we could exchange horror stories, sure:) My meals aren't bad part and even my picking is not totally out there but I know I can get a better handle on it.I just need to stop eating certain things at certain times of the day:) So far, I had 4 crackers and a piece of cheese before I went to bed.Now I am sipping my coffee.But I am thinking of getting a bowl of Special K Soy with Skim milk.

Marica, hope you dont pick at the office food to much.I know I would have trouble:) Enjoy the Jan rotation, I was so tempted to try it but some of those workouts, I don't enjoy doing so I know I would drop the rotation on the second week:eek:

Charlotte, what have you got planned for today? Are you feeling batter now?

I should go.We have the meeting in 15 min! And DH is just eating his lunch...I don't think we will be there on time.

Yes, I am feeling fine. Didn't you read my post? I just finished a 30 min run.(I kept going, I did not stop). I still need to jump hurdles over my pine trees outside for the plyometric stuff. I did some other jump moves off the stepper earlier. I still need to do squats and another set of BBM's w/weights.

Ok...I am getting ready to workout.i think i am going to do GS Ub and KM. I could change my mind though.

Wendy, did you not know that charlotte is 8 feet tall! Honey,,,she does plie jacks over houses!:)

Hey everyone!

Can you believe I'm here? I don't know how many of you will be back at this late hour (it's only 2:30pm here), but I thought I'd post anyway. I had a dr. appointment this morning and apparently I'm as healthy as a horse. But get this - for as long as I can remember, I'm 5' 8" tall. So today the nurse tells me I'm 5' 7" tall. WHAT???? She says, "Yup. Says it right there. The last time you were here they put down 5' 5" tall!!! Now you tell me, how on earth can someone's height change so much???? The first thing out of my mouth when she said I was 5' 7" was, "That messes up my BMI!!" So I came back to work and we did the measure on the wall thing (like for kids) and apparently I'm 5' 8". Whew! My doctor told me that we do shrink as we get older. Well, yeah, when we're NINETY!

Okay, now that I got that off my chest. The little puppy is doing well so far. Our Macy is so mean though. She hasn't snapped at him or anything, but she's just a grump. She won't allow any playing in our house unless she's the one doing it and she rarely wants to. We are watching her closely to make sure the little fella doesn't get hurt. We're giving the whole situation the weekend and then we'll decide. I hope it works out b/c he is SO CUTE and he's had a rough start in his little life. Did I tell you the Shelter vet says he's more like 4 or 5 months, not 2? He already has his molers. So he's probably going to be small. And he's definitely a pit bull MIX, not purebred. They think maybe bull terrier. All I know is he's cute and cuddly and I can't wait to see him tonight! :)

I have to head off to a meeting. It sounds like it's going to be a boring one too. Hopefully I'll stay awake. I got up early so I could get my workout in (Spinervals) and have time to let Gizmo play for a half hour or so before I left.

Charlotte, I am only as crazy as the company I keep!:p 3 feet high is still high.Man...I can only imagine what the neighbours muct think about the nut who lives next door.One day your doing walking lunges while flapping your wings and the next thing they know, you out jumping over trees...or God forbid there could be preschoolers outside!!! LOL:) :) :)

Susan, I hope the puppy works out.Chico can be a grump but he as every right to be. Charlie is torturing him.Somedays you can look at Chico and you can tell he is not in a good mood! hahaha
So your shrinking? Already?:eek: ;) If you were only 5'7" I wonder what diet you would be planning b/c your BMI had magically gotten worse?:p

I did my workout today but I was sooooooooooooooo not in the mood.And it didn't help that I was pressed for time.I think I am just going to do straight cardio tomorrow.

Hello Lori, Susan, Charlotte and anyone else who might pop in this evening!

So Susan, you are now the incredible shrinking woman who miraculously grew a couple of inches but is still shorter than she used to be!? LOL :7 :7 :7 Hey, atleast you started out TALL...I am a mere 5 foot 3 1/2...what happens when I shrink? You won't be able to see me anymore I'll be so dang short!:p :7

Charlotte, so let's get this straight...you go outside in plain site of any neighbor or passerby and PLYOJACK over 3 foot tall pine trees??? My goodness, you are a brave one!!!! LOL ;) I won't even do my walking lunges outside in the middle of the day when most are working for fear of embarrassment and I don't even flap my wings when I do them!!!!:p

Lori, your work out is behind you. Wether you felt like doing it or not, doesn't it feel great to have it over with?

I am already thinking about tomorrow's work out. I should be staying home tomorrow...too much to do to get to the gym. I had planned on working out at home anyway so it works well. I have GS shoulders, leg work, ab work and a random 30 mins cardio to do.

Spin class today was incredibly EVIL on the thighs! I pushed it a bit more on the resistance...plus to me it just felt like a more difficult class than the one I took last week. I wonder if I'll be able to walk tomorrow? }(

Tomorrow night actually, I am going to the gym for the evaluation thingy they do where they show you how to work everything and weigh and measure, talk about goals and work up a routine for you. I wonder what kind of routine I'll get? Things that make ya go HMMMMMMM! I don't know if I'll be working out during this but I'm doing my usual in the morning regardless. }( }(
