Good Morning Ladies:)

I am just getting my bootie out of bed again and it is 10:00 again! I am having such good sleep ins on my days off, I love it!:) Mind you, I didn't go to bed both nights until 1ish so I have to get back into the swing of things tonight b/c I have to work tomorrow night!:-(
I am making another pot of turkey soup now, I have the water and turkey on and I am going to go cut up the veggies very soon.
Yesterday I did another 6 mile run even though I said that I wasn't going to and I wanted today to be my long run.We will see how I feel later.
We also had chocolare fondue last night:9 It was so good! We had all kinds of cakes cut up and fruit. And I was still down in weight today....Wendy??? How on earth do we do it???:7 :7

Wendy- If both scales said you lost 3 lbs...that I think you lost 3 lbs to.My digital scale was never that bad but it would go up and down a couple of pounds from day to day.The sad thing is...it went up more then it went down!:-(

Charlotte- Are you telling me that you love men? hahaha I was just joking but I knew you were serious!!! I didn't know you were like that!}( }( Is that why you bought those slutty boots?:)

Susan- Better late then never I say.I read your post last night so it wouldn't have went totally to waste.Sounds like you had a good day and how did your cheat day go?

Well...I am having a hard time getting my weight workouts in and I am not that interested anymore.I only did legs, bic and shoulders last week! How awful is that? So I am thinking of doing a one body part per day rotation for the next 4 weeks just to see what happens.I think I am going to use CTX UB,GS,& MM. Does that sound good? That way if I am working the day shift then I still have time to do one body part each day.
O.k I will stop babbling now!
Lori:)

Hi!

Sorry it took me so long to respond...

Well, the scale told me I gained about a pound back, that's it!:) Let's see if this sticks!:+ :7 :+

I got done with my work out a little while ago...I did LIS' Lower Body Cardio Blast with weights in place of the ball for squats/lunges and I did the cardio on an 8" step! That was one kick-a$$ work out!}( }( }( I also did crunches on my own-no vid.

So you are makin' turkey soup, Lori? I've made only ONE kind of soup ONCE in my life and that was french onion in a crock pot a couple years ago. It was quite yummy but not worth the effort as we don't eat soup that often.

So miss Lori how do you expect to lose any pounds if you insist on eating chocolate fondue?? :p You better run an extra 5 miles to burn that off, young lady! ;)

Well, I gotta shower and hit the store.
I'll be back later. :+

Hey there!

I thought I'd check in real quick. Lori - get to those weights! You don't want your muscles to turn to mush and be all jiggly when you run. As if that could happen with your low body fat.

Wendy - congrats on getting your workout done already. It sounds like a good one! And congrats on the weight loss. Way to go!

So, I figured when Charlotte bought slutty boots that she liked men! Hehehe.

I have Imax2 on schedule for today. I'm being a little lazy right now though. I'm going to make turkey chili (again!), go to Sam's Club, knit and work out. How's that for a Sunday?

Lori, thanks for reading my post so it didn't go to waste. You are too good to me!

Hey - what do you guys think of that Special K challenge? I'm usually not into those quickie type diets, but since Mexico is looming I was wondering if I, too, could lose 6 pounds by then? But I know if you work out hard you need more fuel. I love BFL, but now I'm in a hurry. :) Especially after yesterday's cheat day! Charlotte - I had cheesecake. YUMMY!!!

Hi Girls,

Wendy- If you are still down 2 lbs...I'd take that:) The only time I have ever made soup was last week and then we were eating it all week! BLAH! But then my freezer gave out so there was nothing else to do with this turkey. So I cooked the turkey for sandwiches and then DH wanted some more soup made...so thats what I did.Sad thind is, I didn't get a new freezer yet so I am not quit sure what to do with all that soup! Maybe I will have to clean out my fridge and put it in there.

Susan-How is your day going? You sound like my friend, she is always trying something new.The other night she said she was going back to WW , in the meantime she looks like she as lost weight and is smaller then I am.I can't imagine going to WW.I don't know how small she wants to be but right now she as alot going on in her life...I think there is trouble in her marriage.Anyway..I am not saying that is you.Im just saying that you are down to the final crunch and that is something she would recommend without a doubt! I love cereal but I think I would be hungry.

I just got off of the treadmill and I did another 8 miles...so that is 22 miles this weekend.Do you think that takes care of the fondue miss wendy???? Now I am going to go do Chest and Back. Those two I am going to work together b/c I am not going to work those as hard as the rest of my body.
Lori:)

I agree with Lori, Wendy. Take it!

Lori, usually I try to stick with BFL because I know it works. BUT...of course now I'm getting desperate because it's getting down to the wire. I don't know why I'm panicking this year and haven't as much in the past. I swear it's harder to lose weight at 43 than it was at 42! But I guess since I don't have as much to lose it's taking longer. Who knows??? I agree that I'd probably be hungry on the cereal diet. But then I think maybe it would be worth it! It's only a short time. Although what if it's like Slim Fast or something that as soon as you start eating you put the weight back on. Could you see me in Mexico ballooning up? Yikes!!! :)

Wow - you've run a lot this weekend. How are your knees handling it?

I've been knitting this blanket FOREVER and today I got tired of it and ripped the whole thing out! I'm going to do it on the knitting machine instead. I made it too wide, so it was going to take me forever to finish it. I think I'll just knit smaller things by hand and if I have the sick urge to do a blanket again I'll cheat and throw it on the machine. I was making it for a friend of mine who lost the baby - A YEAR AGO! That's how long I've been working on it. Well, she was about 3 months along, so I'd been working on it since she told me. I sort of stopped for awhile after she lost the baby, but still you think I'd be finished by now. Everyone in my knitting group will be SO happy not to have to see that yarn anymore. :)

Hi Susan,

You tore something apart that you were working on that long??? Are you out of your mind?:) I hate it when I cross stitch and before I know it, I have made a mistake and then I need to take it out and start over. For some reason I would just like to throw out that material, buy some new stuff and then start over! I gave it up thought b/c I would never frame any of it...so whats the use?
My knees are o.k but I am not going to run today or tomorrow just to give them a break. They were actually pretty good today but I can tell that it is comming on.I am not sure what cardio I will do tomorrow.

The dog fur in thise house is driving me bananas!x( When we got charlie I thought...oh well, it can't get much worse, but boy did it ever.Chicos fur is coarser and just sits on the floor while charlies is constintly falling out and is floating everywhere! It is in everything that I make and everywhere that I look. Its in the tub,on the dishes,in my pot of soup;( ...Im gonna have a nervous break down! I can't imagine what it will be like this spring when he loses his winter coat! I truly love them but I don't think I am going to have anymore animals.Besides for this, we have to get some one to move into our house if we need to go anywhere and that is getting harder b/c everyone we know is settling down and getting their own homes.Anyway,I'd brush him but I can't find the brush! I don't know where it is gone.
Sorry but I needed to vent.I know the other girls are tired of hearing me talk about dog fur.
Lori:)

You are a funny girl - dog fur and all! Our dogs have short hair, but they still shed. I am constantly sweeping our wood floors. Between that and feathers...

Why don't you take your dogs to a boarding place when you go away? That's what we do. But we do have to have someone come in and feed the birds. But at least they don't have to stay here.

I just finished Imax2 and the Rhythmic Step Challenge (I figure the more I do it the more I'll become a pro at it!). :) I feel so much better now. I was getting kind of tired (lazy). Now I think I'll start a new knitting project. That way I can justify sitting on my bum!

Oh My....those dogs would drive someone and anyone nuts! They have to be chasing someone that they know, around all the time.Chico would probably die of a broken heart if we took him out of his enviroment and Charlie would just howl until they let him go.
Chico is a very scared/scitish dog.He is scared of garbage bags on the side of the road or anything that falls and makes a noise.
Charlie is not afraid of anything but lets you know when he is not happy.DH thinks that he is a "special" dog and not quit all there. But I say its just b/c he is a pup.
Charlie went to my moms house last weekend with DD and my mom doesn't let dogs in her house. So Charlie had to sleep downstairs with Nicky (my brothers dog, whom my parents are taking care of) even then, with nicky as company, charlie whined until my dad let him in the room with DD.
Its true we have them spoiled but I don't think they are any different then anyone elses dogs.We don't have a big enough house to keep them confined to one room, and they sleep in the room with us on the floor. When we leave for the day we bar parts of the house off but when we come home they have managed to get into rooms where the doors were shut! DH thinks chico can open doors.
Anyway...enough babbling. Its true we have them spoiled and we can't undo it.They are two different dogs and if we took them out of this house, it wouldn't be a pretty site. With that being said there is only one place around here that takes dogs and they do no do a very good job of that.
Glad you got your workout in.What are you knitting now? Socks for mexico:+
