HI Girls:)

I am just getting ready to go home.Another hard night at work:+ But before I go home, I thought I would start this thread so that I have lots to read when I wake up! So start talk'in!:)

I have LM and GS Legs on my agenda today but I am sort of in the mood to run.We will see.If I don't do LM today, then I will do it on Fri when I have legs again.Gotta make um burn.
Missy, I read your post last night.I know one way to put you being hungover to rest.This friday night, have another 2 glasses of wine and see how you feel! LOL If you wre o.k, we will stop teasing you! hahahaha

Thats about it from me.Short and sweet.

Good Morning Girls!!!

Hey Lori! Oh man, I can't even walk this morning. My right calve muscle is so sore!!!!! Dumb I guess to do too many airborne jumping jacks since my toe was bothering me as I couldn't run, but still wanted to burn cals so now I can't walk!!!!! Yeah, I did those yesterday again, and tri's and bi's, worked out on my own with shoulders, chest/back, 400 crunches and 3 sets of BBM so now I am all crippled up!!!! One thing was interesting though, I haven't worked out to the tri's and bi's slow/heavy series in awhile now because I have been working out tri's/bi's on my own without video and when I went to do the tricep work with the heavy db behind head, I had to go really much lighter so I think I am forgetting to work ALL the muscles there so I need to keep working out to that video ocassionally. When I worked with the 8# db's on the bench with arms going to side of head and then straight up, I could have used 10#'s or 12#'s which is heavier than I use to use, but I have been working tri's to the smith machine with 50# so that may explain why I need to go heavier as my muscles are doing fine in that region, but not in the other. Am I making sense? You see, I need Cathe...she keeps ALL my muscles working good and so I can't go off on my own too much. I like getting stronger in one area, but not much weaker in the other. Had DD and her friend work out to ME. DD was mad at me and saying that I was trying to kill her. LOL! Her friend thinks Core Max 1 is still harder then ME! Hmmmm. They both did good and DD did ALL the pushups just like Cathe!!!!!! DAMN, I am jealous!!!! I am going to the concert tonight and I am ready to be wild!!!!!!

Good morning Ladies!!

Well....I missed my workout again this morning. I am so bummed. I am going to have to make up for it all this weekend. Kylee (my youngest 14 months) is teething. She is a late teether; she got her first tooth right after she had her 1st bday. She is getting her 4th tooth, which means diarhea and diaper rash for her, and no sleep or workouts for me!

I won't be around much today. I have to go grocery shopping. I shop at Wal-Mart and the closest one is about 35 minutes from here. We are supposed to have a really nice spring day today. So, we will probably spend the rest of the day outside.

I made a picture trail album, but I don't know how to get it here....

Lori, you can keep teasing me because I am not drinking two glasses of wine again - just in case! I will take being a weeny over a hangover any day. ;) I was wondering how many miles you run a week, Lori. You should do a mini or some other events. YOu have terrific endurance, I bet that you would do well. :)

Charlotte, I know what you mean about doing the videos and diong your own thing. Cathe tends to hit things that we would otherwise forget in ways that we wouldn't think of. And what concert are you going to tonight? I know that you will have a great time, though, becaues you are so cool! Oh, and my DD has been walking on our treadmill. She loves it! She would walk forever, but I only let her go 30 minutes. She really loves to stretch with me afterwards, too. Don't we have the coolest kids? :D

Sara, did you get a workout in yesterday? I know what you are going through right now with a teether. It is terrible, isn't it? I always felt bad for my little guys because no amount of soothing and kisses in the world can make that pain go away. (((((HUGS))))) Don't worry about missing a workout here and there. I couldn't start a rotation and actually finish it until my youngest was... I guess when he was weened, at 14 months, and had all his teeth. So I just started working out more than 3-4 times a week starting in June/July. Just don't worry about it because "this, too, shall pass". Just do what you can and feel great about that. You will have plenty of time to get workouts in, but the time we have with our kids is limited and we will never get it back. :) What are you getting at the grocery? For the first time since before Halloween, our fridge is full! We have tons of fruit and veggies that are so delicious! :9 I love that feeling.

Today is a short easy run, 3 miles, and abs. I don't have much housework, only laundry and ironing, so I will get to relax and read the last book in the series that I am reading. I will finally find out how that darned ghost who is really Roz's great-grandmother died.

HI Girls,

I have been awake for a while but DH wanted me to swing by the store and once I did that, he wanted me to wait so we could have lunch together.So I am just getting home.I need to let my lunch settle and then I will be on the treadmill.

Charlotte, what have you done to yourself??? See, sometimes it doesn't pay to be crazy.Now you may be laid up for a while!;) We wouldn't want that! DD did good with all those push ups! It would be nice if you can get her active now.I use to watch my sister workout when I was a little girl and I really think thats why I am into it so much.

Sara, teething...ugh..I didn't like that. Although my friends ask me baby questions and I tell them "I forget". I lived at home with my parents so things weren't as hard as the real world.They were a great help.Not to mention I had to go back and finish highschool, so for the frist 3 m of her life I was gone all day. Its funny how things are so much easier when you are younger.Nothing got to me back then, not like it would now.Water off a ducks back!

Missy, Im not sure how many miles I run a week.It varies, I haven't ran a whole lot this month.I will see what I did in Jan month. The second week in Feb, I ran 32 miles..the 2nd week in jan I ran 34 miles,3rd week I did 30 miles.The month of Jan I ran 117 miles.I was keeping track for a while but I haven't been writing things down lately.I will start again tomorrow.

I should go and get ready to workout.I have to run plus GS legs so I need to get started!

Hi Girls!

I'm slaving away at work, but thought I'd take a quick break to see how you all are doing. It sounds like you're all doing great today. Sara, I'm sorry your baby is under the weather. And don't feel bad about missing a workout or two. Having those babies is SO worth missing some workouts. I know these girls have all heard this before, but what I wouldn't give to have had children. I would have given up some workouts! :) But it wasn't God's plan for my life apparently. He knew there were lots of animals who needed rescuing.

Today my workout didn't take quite as long (you were sort of right Lori). I started late at about 5:50 (GASP!) and finished at 7:15. I did 30 minutes of HIIT cardio on the bike and then triceps and shoulders. I'm glad you posted what you did about doing the videos Charlotte. You're absolutely right and I will be sure to incorporate them at least once every couple of weeks. I will definitely be doing some Imax 2 also!!!

Okay, I suppose I must get back to slaving. We are planning our summer camp for kids and all of the instructor proposals were due to me last Friday (meaning they are still trickling in today) and it looks like we have lots of fun stuff!

Susan, sounds like you are having another hard day at work! Its hard to take holidays, isn't it? You come back and there is twice as much work waiting for you! Whats the point of Vaca?

I did my workout and now I am getting ready to go to work. I did a 8 mile run and GS legs.I was watching war of the worlds while I was running, so thats why I stayed on so long.I was having a good run to.I was surprised b/c I had 2 coffee and no water.But my breakfast was mostly carbs so maybe thats why I had so much energy.

Oh I slept when I got off of work and maybe a little at work;) I only slept until 11 and that was enough for me.I think I may have slept a little to much at work and I wouldn't be sick to my stomach if I had to spend another night like that! LOL
