Good Morning Ladies:)

How is everyone? Im gonna be even better when I get home and hit the bed:) Ugh...its gonna be awesome!!!!
Everytime last week when I was off, and I tried chatting with you gals,my running partner would blow into my house.Now...no one knows how much I love my morning coffee/cathe time, I look forward to it but now someone as been tampering with it and I am not to keen on the idea:eek: It just irritates the hell out of me when someone comes into my house, unannounced, yet she says she just stopped in to see if we are going for a run but she as a coffee in her hand and her car turned off.Yesterday I didn't even get up from the computer when she came in, I know it was rude, but so is popping in EVERYDAY! I can see every once in a while, but come off of it...everyone owns a phone. I said to DH yesterday morning that I hoped she wasn't going to show up b/c we spent all weekend together and really didn't have anything left to talk about,it looked that way unil 9:30..and then I heard "hellooooo?" I think I am going to start hiding in the laundry room.Anyway how can I deal with this without actually telling her? I think she thinks we are best buds and thats why she comes in every morning with her coffee. So I know when I get up at noon to catch up on the tread and enjoy my coffee, I will be interupted again.
Atleast I will have a 2 week break soon b/c she will be in Europe and our schedules are pretty opposite so I know once we are back to work it won't be as crazy as it was last week.I guess there are people who enjoy drinking coffee with friends in the morning, I drink mine with my invisable friends..LOL does that make me a weirdo? Ah...you know you all do it!!!!

Now that I have that off of my chest...whats everyone doing today? I think I am running with you know who;) and then I may do the rest of MM and some abs.
I have someone working tonight for me so I am not back to work until tomorrow night. There was just to much on the go and this was the easist way to deal with it.

Chat with you when I wake up!
Lori:)

Hope you're having a peaceful sleep Lori! Maybe when she gets back from Europe you can subtley get the point across that she's kind of invading your space by stopping over all the time expecting to chat. It's tough tho. Honestly tho, I can sooo relate to rather hanging and chatting with my invisible friends than dealing with real people! Maybe we are weirdos but who the hec cares! LOL! I've been trying to chat w/ you guys cause I miss you all but sometimes can't sit down long enough to read the posts and join in! It's maddening sometimes! I want to try tho cause I miss it.

Try to enjoy your run and I'm sure the rest of your workout will be great LOL.

I'm off to do cardio and some abs, not sure which one yet I'll decide the second I get my butt off this chair. Powerwalking later this morning. I have work tonight at 5:30 so that'll be it for me today as far as workouts. Yesterday I got to walk and then I did PH in the evening. Man those lunges seem to last a lifetime!! But they're working!

Good morning everyone who checks in. Talk to ya'll soon.

Sorry Lori, I have no advice for you. I am a rather large chicken when it comes to issues w/friends so you don't want me to even ATTEMPT to give you advice on this one!:7

Kali, so what's was keepin' you away from us girl? You need to MAKE time for yourself! If that means that the dishes don't get done right away, so be it! The earth will not crumble over a few dirty dishes in the sink you know!:+

Good morning everyone:

I'm taking a half day today and going with my DH and friends to the Minnesota Twins Home Opener - YIPPEE.........Spring is most definitely here now. :) We got tickets from one of our beer suppliers and going up with them on a bus and to the "VIP" tent for food and drinks beforehand. Should be a blast!

I doubt I will get in a workout, but if the game gets boring I can walk around the dome and people watch. :p

I hope everyone has a great day!

~Marcia~

Marcia, sounds like you have a super fun day ahead of you! ENJOY and let us know what kind of interesting people you watch today!;)

Umm Lori why don't you just lock your door unless she has keys to your place.

Maybe your friend is just a very social person and feels that it's okay for her to drop in anytime she wants.

Me I'm quite the quiet type and being raised in NYC well we always lock our doors and don't speak to stranges so I guess my upbringing has alot to do with why I don't look people squarely in the eyes when I'm out and about.

Anyhow,
I've got C&W for today . Looking forward to it ... been a little down I guess it's because my mom went to the cemetary and told me that my dad's name was done beautifully on his gravestone that he shares with his mom my grandmother - it's still very hard to realize that my dad is no longer with us ... it's something I just need to deal with but it's funny how those feelings really affect how I deal with daily living. So I hope I get a good workout and feel better afterwards.

BTW did anyone catch that show last night 'honey were killing our kids' ? Wow I had to change the channel because I was getting so angry at how those boys were acting ( not to mention the seemingly passivity the parents had with those kids) I ended up with a serious headache. UGH! It seems to me the parents nned to take back control.

Well I hope all have a beautiful day. The sun is out and shining and that really helps my moods so after my workout I may just go out and enjoy the sunshine :)

Hi Vilma,

I agree...If Lori doesn't keep her door locked, she needs to start NOW!}(

I lost my dad 10 1/2 years ago...WOW...I can't believe it's been so long already. UGH. Anyway, he died young..only 55..of cancer. I was in my early 20's at the time. I was devastated and couldn't believe it was happening. All I can tell you is that though you will never forget and your heart will feel it forever, it WILL get easier. Try to keep your spirits up for your dad. I'm sure he wants to see you happy! I miss my dad every day but I go on w/life and don't let it get me down too often because I know he just wants me to be happy.

Now get your butt outside and enjoy that sunshine girl!:+

Hi Guys! I made it in again! What are you doing today Wendy?

Hi Vilma. I hope you have a good workout and feel a little better. I can only imagine what your feeling and what Wendy has been thru with the loss of your Dad's. I thought I was losing mine a few weeks ago but it wasn't his time yet. Just remember your Dad is watching over you and yes he would want you to be happy. And never forget you WILL be with him again. ((((((HUGS)))))) for you too.

Marcia! Have a great day!! Opening day how exciting!! Yes spring is here!

Getting pictures tomorrow with the boys for Mother's Day so I'm off to get something for all of us to wear that we can also wear on Easter Sunday. Don't like pressure shopping much but gotta do what we gotta do.

Hello to everyone else who checks in. Talk to ya'll later!

Vilma:

I totally understand how you are feeling. I lost my dad two years ago (from a progressive form of Parkinson's Disease) and the hurt is still so real. I have trouble at the cemetery because I know his physical body is right there and I just want to reach and hug him. BUT, life goes on and they wouldn't want us to wallow in sadness - so try to keep your chin up and concentrate on yourself - keep yourself healthy - fit - and happy. :) We are hear for you.

Hi Girls,

I am awake...not sure "how" awake I am!:) Its a beautiful day here today. When I got off of work the roads had some snow on them and looked quit wet, now that the suns been out a while, its pretty dry.So I guess I will be hitting the pavement for a run:)

I never thought about locking my door. She knows I am awake though b/c she usually sees me when we take the kids to school, she doesn't live far from me.I just don't have anyone around me 24/7 and that last 5 days it seems as if she is always around. And like I said before, I ran out of things to talk about so scat!:p Even when she calls its pure torture trying to get her off of the phone. So I don't even like answering that, I like "get to the point" conversations.Im a b*&th, aren't I?

Vilma, I can't imagine going through while you gals have been through.I am super close with my family, I think my dad and I lost a bit of our connection when I got pregnant at 16.I was always the loving type who hugged everyone I saw so I spent most of the time sitting on my fathers knee, but when I got pregnant things changed, I think I hurt him alot.We are o.k now but I am 10 yrs older and I have other places to sit then on my fathers knee:p although I still do it at times! LOL Im sure the pain will get better, just be thankful that you had such a great father! Not everyone gets to experience wonderful childhood memeories.

I should get going and see what the other forum members are yacking about!

Lori:)

Good morning ladies!

Lori - I can't believe you never thought to lock your door. Silly girl! It's okay if she knocks and you don't answer. Since you don't want to confront her (and I wouldn't either) then this might give her a hint. Especially if she knows you're up. You are not required to answer the door just because she comes knocking. Maybe you're sleeping or in the shower or something. Maybe she'll start calling first. Or maybe she'll climb in the window. Hard to tell!

Marcia - have a BLAST today. Lucky you!!!

Vilma - I'm so sorry you're feeling down today. I can't even imagine your pain. I just hope that your mood will be lifted when you feel the sun shining on your face.

Kali - why don't you just wear your new red bathing suit on Easter? It looks great on you and fits so nicely. Hehehe. That reminds me that I want to try to make a dress for Easter. Do you think I'll get it done? Probably not! I'm currently working on curtains for my sewing room. I got this really cute fabric with this fashion cartoon ladies on it and it says New York, Paris and Milan all over it. I thought it was fitting for my sewing room. I have this one window up high and it's long and narrow - hard to fit. I just need something for the afternoon sun. DH suggested foil. Yeah, okay.

Wendy - are you feeling better yet? Back to working out?

I did my first Computrainer workout this morning on the bike. DH set up a hill workout for me and I rode for an hour. I have major DOMS in my butt from yesterday's walking lunges! That made today's workout even more difficult. But I know it's going to make me stronger.

Later gators!

Susan

Marcia,

I know what you mean about the cemetary...
My dad was was creamated but still has a headstone at the cemetary where his parents bought plots for the whole family. I never go there as it just upsets me more. I like the idea that there is a place I can visit if I choose to since his ashes were spread in his favorite vacation spot, Bermuda (his wishes), but I really don't like going there as it is just too hard...;(

SUSAN!!! That is so cool you can sew! I WISH I WISH I could! Sounds like the curtains are gonna look great! Glad to hear you have butt DOMS. They're the best! LOL!

Well I got 2 pairs of slacks that are actually the right length! Thank goodness for petites! I got a robin egg blue (that seems so popular this year) top and I got the boys shirts with that color with yellow mixed in. One is a checked button down and the other is a striped polo. So I hope it's not too much of that color. I think with a dark backround it'll look ok. This is the first year I'm putting our picture in for Mother's day and usually in most of the pics everyone matches and such.

What are you doing Wendy??

Kali

Don't be too impressed Kali. I'm not that great at it. I try though. :)

That's funny - I also get excited about finding pants the right length (which is rare) because I'm 5' 8 1/2" and everything is always too short! It sounds like you got some great stuff. I hope you're gonna post these pics???

Well that's a lot more than I do Susan! I'm lucky if I can stitch a hole in a seam!

I'll try to post them. I don't know how to scan with my printer thing here. I'll have to get the manual out and maybe I'll figure it out. I told DH what you told me to wear Easter Sunday and he was like OH YEAH WEAR IT! WEAR IT! What a goof. He actually put those pics in a collage frame for me for my bd. Could you imagine? And he sent me 3 dozen RED balloons from him and the boys. Sicko he is.

OH MY GOSH - I forgot the best news of all. I lost 3 pounds. Woo hoo!!!!!! I'm a happy girl! My weight has been staying at the same place for so long even though I've been better about eating and I've been working out so hard. It was starting to make me really angry (but not angry enough to quit behaving). I hadn't weighed myself in a week or so (because of TTOM - I KNOW better) and this morning I did the happy dance when I got on the scale. Yay!!!

Hey there Kali and Susan.

I'm just hangin' out in sick bay still!;(
I took the lil' guy to the doc this morning. Gotta get him some antibiotics and eye drops to help him kick his troubles out the door. Maybe tomorrow I'll actually call for an appointment for MYSELF! lol

Susan, congrats on the weight loss! WTG!:)
Kali, sounds like a successful shopping trip! Good for you!:)
