Moderately healthy eating 3-9-06

Hi, everyone -

Last night I felt in the need of a dessert. I ate yogurt. I really didn't need it because I wasn't hungry, but it did satisfy a craving that I could have filled with junk food!

Today:
B - 2 ww pancakes with usweetened applesauce and cinnamon
S - apple
L - focus around a mixed green salad, but I need to eat a few leftovers too.
S - more fruit or nuts if needed
D - Good old fashioned baked potato! Also, tofu-veggie saute. Bread??? I should try to cut back, but I'm not making any promises.

Job well done Shannon!

B=raisin bran with fiber one, orange, tea.

We're going to the big city today treadmill shopping so for eating we will be having lunch at Olive Garden. Dinner will depend on how late it is when we get back.

No workout planned but DH is on the treadmill right now. Funny how that works...he's exercising while I'm getting kids ready for school.

Have a great day everyone! :D

Morning ladies:)

Yesterday was good for me.

Today:

B - mixed cereal with banana and soy milk, 1 piece 12 grain toast with natural pb
S - apple and whole grain crackers
L - burrito with rice and beans and veggies, lf yogurt
S - carrots with salsa
D - not sure - my SO is home today so he will likely cook something

Workout is RS and core.

Have a great day!

Hi Shannon, Shelly, Forty:

Yesterday I ate more than usual but I intended to. I have been trying to cycle my calories. It just seems strange on a day I am eating 1600-1800 calories, like I have "cheated" when it ain't necessarily so!

Today:
B - protein shake & rice cake with almond butter
S - Apple
L - chicken breast and italian green beans, 1/2 orange, SF pudding
S - other 1/2 orange, locarb toast w/pb
D - Teriyaki salmon and stir fry vegies.

I did pyramid up last night and my back seems to have tolerated pretty well! I went down just a tad on the weights and really focused on holding my abdominals tight so as not to irritate the back.
This morning, 40 min power walk on treadmill and stretches.
I will also walk the mall (2 miles or so) at lunch.

Hope you all have a wonderful day with lots of good things happening!

Paula
