Moderately Clean Eating - March 2/06

Morning all!

I did really well yesterday. NO COOKIES:) That's day one of 45. Eek!

Today:

B - steel cut oats with banana and soy milk
S - apple and almonds
L - large salad with protein
S - protein bar
D - not sure - I have to go for a run and I can't eat before that, and I have to grocery shop, so I'll squeeze something in between those two things:)

Workout today is shoulders and five mile run.
 
Mornin' ladies!

I don't know what's gotten into me, but I sure have been a good girl lately. Although I will admit, yesterday afternoon I was HUNGRY. But I stuck to my guns.

Today:
B - steel cut oats with honey; blueberry-flaxseed muffin
S - apple and cashews
L - fake chili... similar, but not quite the real thing
S - orange, and possibly a muffin if I'm too hungry
D - I've got some pumpkin soup in the fridge, but I'm not sure if I'm in the mood.
 
Okay, after packing my food for work this morning, mine has changed a bit:

B - same
S - grapes and 12 grain crackers with cheese
L - leftover cauliflower sweet potato soup, an orange and a yogurt
S - protein bar/apple
D - same
 
Well I can't say yesterday was BAD but not according to plan.

I added a baked potato to my dinner (i try not to eat carbs at night but sometimes I fail) and hubby FRIED the fish so I just ate a small piece.

today:
B - kashi go lean/fiber one, lo fat milk
S - almonds, cottage cheese with flaxseed.
L - grilled chicken salad
S - Apple
D - Hubby has dinner meeting so me and my son are going out. Hmmm....where can I go and be "good"?

Hi all! Once again I'm going to try to check in. Started back up on WW yesterday (again!!!). Anyway, here are my meals for today:

B: coffee, ff ham on a lite english muffin
S: apple, ff cottage cheese
L: turkey on wheat, corn salad (recipe from WW), carrots
S: ff yogurt
D: steak with chimichurri sauce, orange-basil red beets, grilled asparagus, and 1/2 c. mashed potatoes (all from the WW cookbook)
S: apple, 1 pc. reduced-fat swiss cheese

Not sure what workout I"m doing today. Been told that we've now got a workout room here at work so I'm going to go over at lunch and check it out!
 
Hello everyone!

Shelly one day down ! good job! I obstained from chocolate last night and had only decaf coffee.

B- Luna bar, aple , coffee in car while driving kids, post workout
S- nf yogurt, water
L- minestrone w/ canellini beans cooking Light recipe
S- ? but my fridge and pantry are stocked with healthy choices!!!
D- 'Vegetarian taco salad' made w/ veggie sloppy joe mix, lf cheddar, salsa and green leaf lettuce and scallions. lo-carb tortilla toasted.
S- decaf coffee and maybe 3 hersheys kisses

I rememberd while driving yesterday that every lent season I turn off the radio in the car. It was pretty hard not to flip stations and hear my beloved oldies or talk radio!!!

Well, I've blown it. Just ate a whole bunch of cashews that weren't on the list. I figure they're bound to be better than the triple layer fudge cake I'm craving, though. And no, I don't have one of those around, thank goodness!
