Hi, everyone -

Last night I ended up eating out with some friends. I did pretty well though - found a "black bean burger" that was served with a little broccoli on the side. Not too bad, though the burger was kind of dry. It's hard to find decent vegetarian eating in my little town.

Today -
B - PB toast with raisins. I'm sick of it and desperately need to cook something!!! Plans for the weekend...
S - Banana, pumpkin-cranberry muffin
L - baked potato with cheese
S - Orange
D - Not sure yet. Probably that tomato-based goulash thing I mentioned a few days ago but haven't actually fixed yet. I really need to use that sauce.

Have a good weekend with lots of tasty, healthy food, everyone! I got two new books - Vegan Planet and one about whole foods (can't remember the exact title). It's supposed to be all icy and sleety out, so in between workouts, I'm going to explore the world of food.

Shelley - yeah, it was recommended to me on this forum by a couple of people. I walked into the local book store, and there it was. The ONLY vegan book in the entire store. I figured I'd better grab it. Don't wish - just go get it! I figure that if I can keep on buying Cathe DVD's, I can afford a $20 book. Right????

Yesterday went well, all I added to the "plan" was a sugar free jello pudding.

today will go like this (positive thinking):
B - 1 egg & 2 whites and lo carb toast
S - 1/2 cinnamon raisin bagel with a little whipped cream cheese
L - spinach and chicken salad
S - Apple
D - Hubbys special fish cakes, steamed vegies.

I did an interval run today...I am getting addicted to this...of course not when I am at the top!
My little legs can't seem to go faster than 6.8 mph...any suggestions from other short people???
