Moderate Clean Eating Feb 16/06

Morning ladies...

Yesterday was.... okay. Not the greatest. I don't seem to have any really good eating days. There's always a slip-up.

I have no idea what I'm going to eat today. I just finished breakfast, which was mixed cereal with soy milk and banana.

No clue what to make for lunch or snacks. Guess I should head to the kitchen to see what I have.
 
Hey, Shelley - I know how you feel. I haven't the foggiest idea of what to eat today. I usually depend on leftovers for lunch. Today, no leftovers - I fixed scrambled eggs for dinner last night because I was too starving to wait for anything else!

B - WW pancakes with unsweetened applesauce
L - I'm sure I'll find something. Definitely some fruit.
D - Don't know. There's an outside chance that I will be visiting a friend tonight anyhow. If not.... maybe a baked potato? That sounds easy.
Snacks.... I'm working at home today and have full access to my kitchen. This could be dangerous.

Shelly I seem to have a similar attitude to yours. But ya know what? I read the 'are we fat post' yesterday and decided NOT to obsess. It is moderation we are aiming for, not boot camp right?

Last night I had my regular sweet tooth so DD and I made oatmeal cookies w/ Splenda. Too much splenda makes my GI track go haywire, so I know not to eat too many cookies or dough. I was satisfied, and the kids got to have cookies in their lunch today.


Today-
B- Wheatena/ soy milk
S- 1/2 protein / apple
L- left over lentil stuffed peppers from dinner last night
S- this is my dangerous time, fruit & protein -or- Hummus and carrots
D- Balsamic rosemary pork chops, roasted broccoli, salad
S- decaff. coffee

that is theplan anyway ;-) ;-)

Hi all. Yesterday was not good. But it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Moderation, right? I guess I was moderately bad...Today

B - steel cut oats w/ soy milk and raisins,fruit salad
L - I hear a donut calling my name. If I can ignore it, I'll have some kind of wrap.
D- DH wants hamburgers, so I'll make a couple for him, and a veggie burger for myself
I did Step Works this am. Sometime later today I'll get some back and shoulder work in. Maybe some coremax if I have the time.
Have a moderately good day all.
 
Yesterday was ok not great, but I knew we were going out to dinner.
I ate a shrimp poor boy and a salad and a lite beer. I skipped the fried so 1 point for me.
Today is

B - Mixed cereal (kashi go lean and fiber one) soy milk, 1/2 banana
S - rice cake with almond butter & a few almonds
L - chicken breast on lo carb bun and apple
S - protein bar
D - pork chop with pasta and steamed vegies.


I haven't done anything today except 60 walking lunges with 10# dumbbells. I was going to do MM tonight but may postpone till Sat. I went to the chiropractor today and I like to take it easy the day of an adjustment.
Oh well, I won't get fat in a day. I want to be fresh and ready for my interval run in the morning.
