Hello Friends of the Forum.
For the past 6 months or so,I've been dating alot from Match.com and previously from E-Harmony. It's been 12 years since my divorce and I love my freedom but down the road a commited relationship with the right man would be great.
Last weekend I showed a friend of mine the ins and outs of Match, and, lucky me, I was contacted by a person whom my gut feeling was "unsafe" and so I blocked him immediately. We agreed it is important to use wisdom, discernement and intuition when in communication with anyone for good or bad.
In light of this, I had one friend meet her mate on match.com and another friend who met his wife on E-harmony.
Looking forward to your responses.

Hey,
I am interested in the responses. I have been checking out these sites. Sort of like man shopping? Any hints on how to choose a name or create a profile? My divorce isn't final yet, so I think I should hold off, but it has been a long time since I have been out. It feels pretty scary.

I have a family across the street from me who met on one of those "internet match services". I say family because they just had their first baby 6 months ago. It is hard to find a mate in the world today. Where do you go...the gym, the bars, the mall? You of course have to watch out for the "sick ones" out there....I'm sure you are aware of that, but I don't think enough can be said for the "sixth sense" we women possess. If something doesn't feel right, go with your gut. Good luck to you...someone is out there for you. I believe everyone has a match somewhere. Whether you find it with the assistance of the computer or by some other method....you will find yours. Just be patient.
