marketing idea - anyone know of a group discount?

For a marketing idea in my new law practice, I want to send out small, but nice flower or gift baskets to clients after we close their case (dependant on the type of legal matter, of course). I want to keep the cost to about $25 but want to get something decent in return that is delivered to their office. The numbers will rotate but I hope to have the ability to send a half dozen a month at least.

I went to someome local and asked her to put one together for me that I will see tomorrow. But from what she showed me, it isn't going to be fantastic. She wasn't really getting the point that I was hoping to get a good bang for my buck b/c I would get them all from her and giveher volume and/or evenm prepay.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or know of a good internet for something like this?

Or does anyone know of a plac that might give me a better price or product if I buy a certain amount per month? Like a frequent buyer or a get every so many free" card. I don't think this is out there but if it is, someone here will know it!

I would keep trying the locals. There is some small business out there somewhere that would appreciate the business and exposure. They could include their business card with the gift and realize that you are a growing firm with many years of business to come (you ARE the one who is branching out on their own now, correct?). Anyway, best of luck to you!

P.S. I have no knowledge or expertise here...so my advice may be total bunk, but I do like the idea of using a local or small business owner.

That's me, yes, thank you!

Me too! I figure that I am a new business branching out & would love to find a new florist but so far, nothing doing. I am definitely going to keep trying this option.

What about sending out handwritten notes on quality, personalized stationary? Honestly, and not to be a naysayer because I love your idea, but I'm not sure you can get a nice floral or gift basket for that price. I send a lot of flowers and it's amazing what $25 won't get you;).

If you want to send a gift I'd try to come up with something unique -- something that will make you stand out (again, I think the handwritten note is pretty unique these days, and I know I would appreciate it).

i am not trying to sell my product, i just think that this is what my product is made for. I have a candle manufacture. We manufacture candles with images / logos. They are mainly used for "thank you" (promotional / weddings). So we can produce a personalized candles with no limitations in picturs, colors, text, etc. I love them.

I am not sure where you are located, if you go to the Wal Mart Canada Photo Center we site, you will see them. They are called Frosty Photo Candles. We will be in the US later. Right now, we are in Wal Mart Canada and Puerto Rico.

I do sell to few distributors in the US, but not sure where they sell them... and will not be personalized. But if you are in Canada, check then out. People love them. And it's unusual, different and unique. We might think " I don't want to burn the image" but they don't burn. They can be reused and the images kind of glow also. Anyhow, they are great and that's why we produce them LOL

just an idea
