Good Morning

Today was 4DS bootcamp and coremax premix tough abs. Enjoyed boot camp, but my back was bothering me a little. When it came time for tough abs I had to modify some of the planks, and the v sit I did without the ball. When I was on vacation I did something to my back. I don't know what. I'm not sure if it was from sleeping on an uncomfortable sofa bed, or stress (but then it would have gone away) or what. It now just bothers me a little at night (turning in my sleep) and when I first wake up. by the time I'm working out though, its usually okay. I hope I'm okay for S&H legs and shoulders tomorrow! I may have to modify with less weight for legs:(

meals:
before workout: handful of dried dates
bfast: steel cut oats w/brown sugar and spray butter and an orange
snack: cliff bar
lunch: omlete and banana
snack: hummus and 2 whole wheat pita
dinner: boca chicken patties (2) and broccli steamed and challah

I am hoping to start my furniture stripping project today. Hopefully the weather will co-operate. I am working on 4.5 hours sleep though, so I may come home from work and nap!:) LOL! Mahjong ran late last night!

Good Morning!

Today was Mark Blanchard's Core. Nothing too intense. Actually it's the easiest of the series but still good core work.

The test went pretty well for my dad. He's a candidate for the non-invasive procedure to replace the aortic valve but since it's an experimental procedure, he's put in a pool of candidates and a computer literally randomly picks who gets which procedure. If they have to do the real surgery, then I'm worried. He has to go for a couple of more tests next week and then he should be having one of the procedures done within the next 2 weeks - exactly when I have to move.

My buyer did officially close yesterday and everything went well. I'm getting pressure from my broker in GA because my seller had to arrange to take off work (she's a schoolteacher too) and it's hard for her to reschedule. My lawyer's supposed to try and call today to see about arranging a closing date. I kind of gave official/unofficial notice today. But my manager said things could be changed if I had to delay it by a couple of days but this way it looks like I'm following proper protocol.

Deanie - Glad my recipe was a big hit! Good luck with the furniture stripping. Make sure you get a nap in. Maybe some Stretch Max might help for your back. I would also go a little easy with the weight if you do S&H tomorrow.

Yesterday's eating was a little crazy because I kept waiting for the doctor to come out so I didn't get to get lunch until about 3:30. I picked up a turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich and put on a little Fat Free Italian dressing and a yogurt. Dinner was a washout. Went dancing and had no time for dinner so I had a little dessert there.

Today's meals:

Breakfast - egg whites and one egg with red and green peppers and whole wheat toast and light 'n healthy Tropicana OJ.
Snack - Kashi Vive
Lunch - Healthy Choice Grilled Chicken Marinara and broccoli
Snack - Yogurt
Dinner - Probably pizza but I have some Stouffer's stuffed green peppers which I might try.

I actually did lose 1 1/2 pounds this week. I hope I can keep it off and not eat like crazy this weekend. I really have to do a lot of packing up this weekend. I think I'm going to try and add in cardio whenever I can to get the weight off and then when I'm all settled, I'll go back to a muscle building rotation, take a recovery week and hopefully STS will arrive by then!

Gin - I hope everything is okay with you and your family. Is everything done for the wedding?
