I didn't want to respond to the other thread but I did want to thank you for keeping us aware of the situation. It sounds like you do a lot, not just for animals, but for people in need as well. Thank you for all you do and don't let anyone get you down! Have a great day! :)

The other thread got a little out of control and I just want you to know that I appreciate everything you do for animals and to keep us aware. Keep your chin up and thanks for your dedication!

Awwww shucks, guys...thanks! I think it is a heated issue and people have really strong feelings. I hate that the thread took such an ugly turn and I admit to getting caught up in it as well. I hate that I was less than nice.

At any rate, I like that this is a forum (Open Discussion) where we can post things of interest and things that are near and dear to our hearts.

I have "met" so many wonderful people on here and love coming to this forum.

Thanks for all the nice PM's and messages. :)

I had the pleasure of meeting Lorie and getting to know her a bit, and I can confirm unequivocally that the world is a better place because Lorie is in it. She devotes so much of her talents, skills, intelligence and seemingly boundless energy to humanitarian (and animaltarian ;) ) causes, and is still a down-to-earth, fun person with a great sense of humor. I think we're very lucky to have her here in Catheland!
 
I agree! I am so thankful that we have people like Lorie in this world fighting for the animals who have no voice. Lorie, I love your passion and I hope that you never lose that fire and that nobody ever makes you give up the fight because in the end it is the animals who need you the most. And if you can save just one, it was all worth it! Thank you for what you do.

I read the thread and was so mad after reading some of the posts that I felt like I did not want to respond and give that person any more energy. But I love animals like you do, and admire the work you do with them so much! And yes, Linus (his name is just too cute and fits him to a "t") is the absolute cutest little guy I have ever seen!:7
 
Lorie, I don't know if anyone else is bringing dogs but it's a park after all so why not? Plus now I have to meet Linus and Baloo in person after seeing their cutie pie pictures.
